If someone can tell me how to get rid of that useless message box I will be glad to put my Texas flag back up.

Ditto, but substitute California for Texas. That stupid box completely destroys the whole first page. I never read those announcements, but I have to scroll past it just to see the thread headings.

I did what Flyer said to do in post number 24 and I have the flag back up and the idiot box is gone.

Hitting the refresh button should get rid of your state box.
