"There's good reason to fear mob-rule."

Hey, I agree with you. But look what happened with ignorance and big city voter fraud by the Democrats in the last election. You saw the county by county map. Any wise person would see G.W. was the real choice of Americans, but inner city theft of votes, people reliant on big government, etc. made the last election way too close. When Hillary runs (and she will) it will be worse, and I fear she will win......just because of these two things ...the evil and direction of her sycophant lamestreamers in the media and the ignorance and government needs of the fools who have come out of our schools for the past 35 years!

"Besides, only 25% of colonials supported the American Revolution"...

25%....what are you expecting this time.....a physical uprising???? I'm talking about votes and public opinion. You couldn't get 10% of our lazy people to rise up about anything these days! Votes and voter fraud and ignorance and the lieing PRESS....that's the story. What does 25% in Colonial time have to do with anything. Klamath Falls was cool, but that's about it. Rise up people, they're thinking of closing your local movie rental store!

Two days ago the dems were yelling " What did he know and when did he know it?"

Obviously they saw that wasn't working,so yesterday it was " We aren't blaming him, we just don't want it to happen again."

Earlier in the week it was the 'picture'. That faded away also.

Their big problem is that any thing they try to bring up has a 'clinton' connection and could bite them in the a$$ if they push the issue. Too bad their lead man is the king of sleaze.

I feel badly for them, yeah,riiiiight..

"and the reason we are a constitutional republic and not a democracy. There's good reason to fear mob-rule."...

One more thing. You are so right about mob rule, the majority, and the electoral college. But let us not forget that some "majorities" still (regrettably) matter in this Republic. For instance: During the 2000 Presidential election....... In states such as PA. and Michigan, and a few more Gore "won" the electoral votes from these states. How!! Simple. Even though he lost the overwhelming majority of the counties and precincts in these states, he "won" the states by "getting" a "majority" of the "votes" in precincts of the big inner cities (Democrat Fraud Machines). So those apparent "majorites" in those few area allowed Gore to "win" states that any intelligent person would know he really lost. So, these "majorities" matter in our Republic. So, to sum it up, the mob and fraud nearly stole the last election, and they'll do it again......because most Americans are idiots and don't know the problem or just don't care! Pathetic!

"Too bad their lead man is the king of sleaze.".......You said it. We always have that to fall back on, BUT, do you think the lamestream press would ever inform enough ignorant, sleeping, self-indulgent Americans about the degree of his sleaze and culpability? Not likely. They haven't and they won't! That's the rub!

They need to ask why didn't we do anything when Clinton shoved the warning from the Philipines to us in 1995

He is already lieing

The report — titled the "Sociology and Psychology of Terrorism: Who Becomes a Terrorist and Why?" — noted that a terrorist linked to al Qaeda, who was arrested in the Philippines in 1995 and later convicted for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, had suggested that such a suicide strike by a jetliner was possible.

The report was prepared for the NIC, which is made up of a dozen senior intelligence officers who assist the U.S. intelligence community in analyzing threats and priorities.

"Ramzi Yousef had planned to do this against the CIA headquarters," the report said.

Mr. Clinton yesterday said he knew about the dangerous potential of bin Laden, but discounted the suggestion that the 1999 analysis should have alerted his administration to the possibility of a terrorist attack on the scale of the September 11 attacks.

"That has nothing to do with intelligence," Mr. Clinton told the Associated Press while in Hawaii on a two-day stopover on the way to East Timor. "All that says is they used public sources to speculate on what bin Laden might do. That doesn't have anything to do with what the intelligence people, the CIA or the FBI, tell the administration."

We pretty much expected Bush to beat Gore decisively based on most polls, but instead the popular vote was lost and the more important electoral vote barely won.

I certainly don't put much stock in polls and am glad to see we have a administration that doesn't make policy from poll results. But I have a sneaking suspicion that the polls were basically accurate with respect to November 2000. Clinton sent out hundreds of thousands of letters to illegals that read - here's your voter registration card. Many of the votes received by Gore and Hillary! were fabrications by a class of folks who are professional cheaters, lies, and thieves. Vote fraud is democrat spelled backward.

The lamestream is poisoning public perception with these baseless accusations against President Bush and their hurried polls are simply an attempt to influence others. If we had a year long investigation into this 'who knew what' mess and if Bush was totally exonerated, I can't see the Dan Blathers of the world reporting the results.

Rememer the October Surprise Bush DWI story the weekend before the Presidential election? Post-voting booth polling seemed to indicate a percentage or two of voters were swayed by that story. And in a close election, it nearly changed the outcome.

Yeah, it only takes a percent or two to really change the outcome in an election. Yesterday, one of the women at work asked me how you change your voter registration. BTW, she "was" a democrat. :o)

GREAT LINE!! ......."

The lamestream is poisoning public perception with these baseless accusations." Yes, yes, yes! And as long as the lamestream is inhabited by these same folks in the near future, we are doomed. I hate to put it this way, but I study numbers and opinion, and right now it is IMPOSSIBLE to wake up ENOUGH sheeple to the truth the way the media is configurated and the way our "citizens" have been intentionally and successfully dumbed down. That points to the Commie-Socialist, The Beast, becoming Prez in the future because the people will most likely remain ignorant and reliant on big government. It is very sad. People finding enough truth about news from internet sources is not going to happen quickly enough to save us.

The lamestreamers poisoned public perception about China money, J.Broddrick, The Arkansas Blood Scandal, Flight 800, Waco, Vince Foster, etc., etc., etc. They aren't changing any time soon. They will keep lieing. It's been said on FR for a long time that it is time to NAME these enemies in the media who seem to want to tear down this Republic, but no one does. The "PRESS" is suppose to expose governmental malfeasance- a most important need for a free society. For the past 10 years, they only served to cover up the same! It is most definately intentional.

I disagree.

True, it's an uphill struggle against leftist-controlled institutions such as the media, church leadership, universities and so on, but an interesting thing is happening. Their power and influence is slowly, steadily eroding. True the citizenry is 'dumbed down' to a certain extent, and intentionally misinformed, but that doesn't mean they can't or won't learn.

Consider how many ex-liberals are here at FR.

Another thing. How in the world can you, in your right mind, say their influence is eroding on the high school and college campuses! BULL! It's getting WORSE every day.

Take for instance the little lefty commie, enviro, mathematically challenged Ted Kozinski - Luke Helder "seperating a few from reality" from their mailboxes for the sake of his big important message. A perfect example of the morons coming out of the schools. All you have to do is get up on Saturday morning and hear the lefty propaganda they spew to the little kids on the children's shows on TV. It's just the beginning of the indoctrination. Eroding - Baloney!

Go read the stats for CNN versus Fox News over the last three years and get back to me.

You might also devote a bit of effort to improving your courtesy.

The biggest failure of the Anerican government to protect its citizens is in front of our faces, and to many people it is a democrat plot to win an election?

If the stupidity of partisans on both sides continues, there wont be any side left to win any election!

The entire intelligence chain of command has failed!

Expose this!

Fire those responsible!

Change our repsonses before the terrorists unleash a designer bio that will kill us all!

Of course the attacks could have been prevented!

But who wanted to throw out hundreds of thousnads of illegals?

Who wanted to empty flight schools?

Who wanted to search for the facts?

Who wants to be "intelligent"?

"Go read the stats for CNN versus Fox News over the last three years and get back to me."

It's obvious that FoxNews is kicking CNN's backend. That's great! It is still true that not enough people in America are getting their news there. As far as courtesy is concerned, if you don't like to hear that the campuses are still serious leftwing hangouts, then go watch the horse race preliminaries. The truth is the truth. You said the left's influence at the universities was eroding. You were wrong. Sorry.....is that discourteous? It's not the worst thing to make a mistake. Read Peter Singer's spiel at Princeton, then repeat to all of us that liberal whacko thought's influence is eroding steadily on campus!

Your post has me so depressed:( Everytime Hillary's ugly mug is on TV, my husband says "There is your next president". It drives me crazy! But if you combine the media support (first woman president hype), uninformed public, Democrat voter fraud and dirty tricks - it could happen.
