MEXICO CITY, Mexico (Reuters) -- Mexican President Vicente Fox lashed out at U.S. immigration laws in a speech late on Thursday in New York City, prompting a White House spokeswoman to insist on Friday that U.S.-Mexican relations remain "strong and robust" despite differences over immigration policy.

What has Mexico done for us?

Nothing.

I just see the good old USA giving and Mexico taking.

Yep and for some reason the POTUS says "We understand that a poor neighbor is somebody that's going to be harder to deal with than a neighbor that's prospering. And that's why it's so important for us to tear down barriers and walls that might separate Mexico from the United States and he refuses to accept that type of isolationist and protectionist attitude"

Who does Fox think he is to make demands?

He is a FOB

This is crazy.

Yep

The United States must legalize the status of millions of Mexican immigrant workers to prove its commitment to a closer relationship with Mexico....

The United States does not have to prove it's commitment to anyone - especially Mexico.

Fox has to be suffering from lack of oxygen to the brain. He probably got out of bed this morning and put his Fruit-Of-The-Looms on backwards again. That'll do it everytime!!

Here's an interesting bit from the Washington Times -----

"An accompanying workshop book produced by the U.N. Children's Fund (UNICEF) tells Latin American mothers and teens: "Situations in which you can obtain sexual pleasure: 1. Masturbation. 2. Sexual relations with a partner — whether heterosexual, homosexual, or bisexual. 3. A sexual response that is directed toward inanimate objects, animals, minors, non-consenting persons."
The book, which was distributed by the Mexican government with U.N. funding, suggests lesbian sex as an acceptable alternative for girls.
"Sexual relations with a partner: Here we should insist there is no ideal or perfect relations between two or several people," the book says. "The one that gives us the most satisfaction and that which is adopted to our way of being and the style of life we have chosen. This is why we encounter many differences among women. Some women like to have relations with men. And others with another woman."

Mexico is no friend to the US.

Its time we stopped pretending it is.

You're right. Even if we were to stop all immigration, we would lose the numbers game due to the birth rate.

And this is a brutal fact that many avoid even bringing up.

But yet the beat goes on from within the Beltway.

Oh my! Thanks for the link

And to think when I was growing up sex ed was just to tell us why we had boobs and how babies were made. Leave it to the UN to come up with something like that.

Maybe this is a good thing. The more Fox makes these arrogant "demands," the more Americans will become furious, and the more they will be determined to fight against amnesty, benefits to illegals, etc.

Time Fox was shoved into the back seat of a black 1934 Cadillac sedan and straightened out by Edward G. Robinson and George Raft

I like the way you think. ;-)

Fox vowed to fight for change in U.S. immigration laws!!

The racist upper class elites of Mexico are counting on Fox to rid the country of as many of it's poorer brown people as they wish so they don't end up causing them problems. They have no intention of changing their political and economic system and allow for a middle class and the poor outnumber them by too much so they want them gone.

Mexicans will rule the southwest thru the ballot box in not too many years hence.

If this scenario does play out, the southwest part of the U.S. will become as big a mess as Mexico City is today.

You're right this is a very good thing; Americans don't appreciate foreign leaders telling them what they must do in order to have "good" relations with their nation.

Let's update a couple of details which perhaps make it worse for Vincente Fox:

In order to "straighten" out Fox, he gets shoved into the back seat black late-model American-made behemoth -- filled with drunken FReepers ;-)

Are ya in??

Mexican President Vicente Fox lashed out at U.S. immigration laws

Bush and Congress seem to agree.
As do 99% of the posters here.

Abolish the INS.
