Exactly - I don't care if he is American, I don't care what his views are. He is Muslim and from an Arab state and I will not trust him in office. They will say anything, do anything to get in our government and then they start the changes. I will not fall in line no matter what his views are.

Islam isn't a race, it's a religion. Arab is a race, and they're not all Muslim. Simple, no?

"I'm concerned they are all active or passive members of the fifth column."I agree. They have proven themselves to be untrustworthy.

His biggest hurdle is that Americans don't like to vote for someone with a name they can't pronounce.

You didn't pay attention to all the words. Islam is a religion, a very intolerant one at that. Not all Muslims are Arab. In fact, there are LOTS of Muslims that are NOT Arab. Conversely, there are lots of Arabs that are Christian. Arabs aren't the enemy of freedoms, Islam however, is.

I agree, but at the same time, we must hold those who have directly or indirectly supported or encouraged these murder-suicide bombers accountable, and we must win the war we are fighting right now.

One day someone here linked to the American Muslim (I think it was called) website and as I recall they stated their intention to gain office to promote their views. So here they go. It's just up to us to vote against them.

I didn't realize there were 6 Congressmen of Arab descent. I remember Spencer Abraham was a disaster when it came to immigration, and he was a Republican.
There is a difference between Arab and Muslim, though. I'm not sure what exactly "moderate Republican" is supposed to mean.

"Islam isn't a race, it's a religion."Supposedly. But Marxism was supposed to be an economic system when it was really just a false religion foisted on the worlds ignorant by by thugs.
Islam, in its present form is a theocracy, and this form of government is unconstitutional.

Yosri is running in a district where 91% of the constituents are affluent white Americans And predominantly Democrat.
Unfortunately I'm so ignorant and racist I'll never believe or trust a Muslim, regardless of what they say. As far as I'm concerned they are all active or passive members of the fifth column.
No, actually it's "Bush Country." Bush carried it 54-46. The winner of the GOP primary has a very good shot at winning this fall. State Assemblyman and lawyer Scott Garrett is from the Bret Schundler side of the spectrum and he's facing moderate dentist and State Senate Deputy Majority Leader Gerry Cardinale. Cardinale is leading Garrett, but they are hitting each other with bats and the bloodbath could elect Anne Sumers who used to be a Republican.

I agree (so call ME a racist if you wish). As far as I'm concerned, Islamics everywhere must now be regarded as the enemies of Democracy, Freedom, and Western culture and religion. Even Islamic U.S. citizens are "suspect" until they prove themselves otherwise...

It means they support tax relief and don't support new spending. They are mostly liberal on social issues (abortion and the environment). Most of the Republicans in NJ-5 are moderates.

As a lawmaker will the law this moslem supports be consistent with the Constitution of a free people or will it be consistent with sharia law that all moslems swear to abide by and to submit ?
Was it one week or was it two weeks after Kandahar, Afghanistan was liberated that, islamic sharia courts resumed the sentencing of raped women to be stoned to death ?

There is a thread in my bookmarks related to their plans regarding Norway. Basically they plan to 'use' democracy to establish a foothold, then once they have a majority, implement Sharia.

"And, frankly, I see my ethnicity and faith as an asset because as an immigrant, I am uniquely qualified and would be uniquely credible in communicating the beauty of America to the rest of the world, particularly the Middle East," he asserted. I think they forgot the humor tag in this part of the story.
No way this guy is gonna win. Not in a post Sept. 11th United States he ain't.

Marge Roukema was a social liberal and a big spender. However, she was a member of the House Immigration Reform Caucus.
This guy has no chance in the primary.

What they do not have is an understanding of the western concept of seperation of church and state and especially women's rights.Neither do the 80% of ews who vote for Democrats. They are on a Jihad to force religion out of the public square. Our founders had no such intent.
