That "Mediterranean Look" just kills me!!

After this weekend, we all have new reason to worship Ozzy Osbourne. While hamming it up as one of the stars of the annual glitzfest known as the White House Correspondents' Association dinner, the heavy metal papa was asked what message he wanted to pass on to the president.
Some of Hollywood's beautiful people, puffed up with self-importance (among other things), would have felt the need to twitter portentously about their current cause celèbre.
Not Ozzy. He's his own cause celèbre, and all he wants is dual-citizenship. " I want to be American," he called out. "America is the coolest place on the face of the Earth. You've got freedom of speech. You've got McDonald's."
Clearly, Osbourne's already an American at heart: Only a true Yankee spirit could be at once so patriotic and so gloriously self-interested. Of course, this being the outspoken, opinionated U.S.A., not everyone agrees. Lynne Cheney reportedly joined the short list of naysayers after the dinner. "He's hardly someone we should be applauding... not a role model, I am rather embarrassed."
Ozzy's not. Nor should he be.

That's a frightening thought. Doesn't say much for the nation then if he is considered "lite" entertainment.
Yeah, Like Marriage, Love for home and family, Patriotism, Redemption, Gun ownership, Freedom of speech, Freedom of religion, Capitalism, Courage and Honesty.

I have praised Bush overall for his execution of the War on Terrorism. I also appreciate the moral tone he has set for the nation, with few exceptions. I also approve of him rescinding Clinton's signature on the ICC treaty.
Do I appreciate him signing onto a $300 billion dollar healthcare plan with Ted Kennedy? No. Do I like the fact that he increased the Deparment of Education budget by $40 billion dollars? No. Do I like the fact that our borders are still open even after 09/11? No. Do I like him advocating amnesty for illegal immigrants? No. Do I appreciate the fact that it took Bush until one month after the ICC was ratified to announce his intent to withdraw Clinton's signature? No.
Do I hate Bush? Not at all. I find the President to be a good person that is doing the best he can, which is all anyone can ask. Does that mean that I have to remain silent when I disagree with him? No. What kind of idiotic bowl of mush would I be if I were?
You may not like it, but I'm going to voice my opinion on each and every issue I confront. If Pat Buchanan had been elected President I would have done the same thing with him. Brown, Keyes or anyone else would recieve the same treatment.
I call 'em like I see 'em. Argue with me on point and I might concede certain points to you. I think that's reasonable.
Actually you can't fault Bush for this one. Ms. Face Lift of Fox News fame purportedly had an extra ticket and invited him along. So if you want to bash anyone's ethics, make it Van Susteren. Bush was actually making him out to be the idiot he was. I found his remarks to Osbourne entertaining and sarcastic. As they should be.
I next noticed her on reruns of a show called "The Naked Truth," I haven't seen her since then til now on "Greg the Bunny!!"
I am not a marketing guy for Fox, but the show is pretty funny!!
