WE AGREE! I am so disappointed that Bush would give any credibility whatsoever to this piece of garbage. Osborne would have made a great Chief of Staff for the last administration. He epitimizes all of what we are trying to get away from, not embrace.

Point being, rock and roll might be a bit over the top, it might even be a little crazy, but compared to today's music and attitude, Ozzy is more like a 50s show than something on MTVThat's a frightening thought. Doesn't say much for the nation then if he is considered "lite" entertainment.

Nor do I think Bush should be disturbed by second billing if you will. My concern would be that parents who've spent their time trying to impress upon their children what traits not to emulate, might be undercut by snippets of information showing that Ozzie is just a cute cuddly doughboy that people kid with and is very popular. Only the worst snippets of Bush's remarks will be shown on Entertainment Tonight etc. How does that support the parents of young impressionable children?

Ah, go put a sock in it.
To: AmericaUnited
Well that would be my take, but you'll note we're in the minority when it comes to Conservative values. LOL
To: Leto
Thanks for the comment. That's an interesting take. I wouldn't dismiss the possibility that might be the ultimate conclusion for some kids.

He epitimizes (sic)
all of what we are trying to get away from, not embrace. Yeah, Like Marriage, Love for home and family, Patriotism, Redemption, Gun ownership, Freedom of speech, Freedom of religion, Capitalism, Courage and Honesty.
Tell me what makes you a 'conservative' again?
To: Delbert
No problem bud. That's what this place is for. We get to approach issues from our own perspective and agree to agree or disagee in friendship. Take care.

you should be looking for Bar-maids!!
Of course it will take many more years of drinking to find the perfect one, or... the next one?

Yes I'm one cantankerous individual. I do hold those I respect to the same standards as those I disrepsect. I lampooned Clinton from the moment I realized what a morally bankrupt individual he was. I have criticized Pat Buchanan for some of his stances on Israel, stating that his opinions on the subject made him look like a complete moron. And I criticize Bush when circumstances warrant.
I have praised Bush overall for his execution of the War on Terrorism. I also appreciate the moral tone he has set for the nation, with few exceptions. I also approve of him rescinding Clinton's signature on the ICC treaty.
Do I appreciate him signing onto a $300 billion dollar healthcare plan with Ted Kennedy? No. Do I like the fact that he increased the Deparment of Education budget by $40 billion dollars? No. Do I like the fact that our borders are still open even after 09/11? No. Do I like him advocating amnesty for illegal immigrants? No. Do I appreciate the fact that it took Bush until one month after the ICC was ratified to announce his intent to withdraw Clinton's signature? No.
Do I hate Bush? Not at all. I find the President to be a good person that is doing the best he can, which is all anyone can ask. Does that mean that I have to remain silent when I disagree with him? No. What kind of idiotic bowl of mush would I be if I were?
You may not like it, but I'm going to voice my opinion on each and every issue I confront. If Pat Buchanan had been elected President I would have done the same thing with him. Brown, Keyes or anyone else would recieve the same treatment.
I call 'em like I see 'em. Argue with me on point and I might concede certain points to you. I think that's reasonable.
To: DoughtyOne
I know a lot of you think I'm a habitual Bush basher, but this is very sad indeed.Actually you can't fault Bush for this one. Ms. Face Lift of Fox News fame purportedly had an extra ticket and invited him along. So if you want to bash anyone's ethics, make it Van Susteren. Bush was actually making him out to be the idiot he was. I found his remarks to Osbourne entertaining and sarcastic. As they should be.

I first saw her on "Saturday Night Live," she didn't last long but she was burned into my "I want her memory!!"
I next noticed her on reruns of a show called "The Naked Truth," I haven't seen her since then til now on "Greg the Bunny!!"
I am not a marketing guy for Fox, but the show is pretty funny!!

I think Blah will end up nailing Sarah before Seth Green's character. He's so much more sophisticated...
