[history]
The mind reels.
It's confirmed. Former President Bill Clinton met with NBC's West Coast executives Wednesday to plumb the possibilities of hosting his own talk show. It would come with a heady price tag: Mr. Clinton might receive $50 million for serving 39 weeks as garrulous centerpiece.

Mr. Clinton, meanwhile, apparently was pleased.

At a million and a quarter dollars a week? I guess he is.
Is there no end to this obscentiy?

Sounds to me like an opportunity for the mother of all boycotts.

If Der Schlickmeister gets a show, I'll get rid of my TV...

Maybe he'll do interviews with Monica Lewinsky.

"I gave the State of the Union, and they didn't even have a teleprompter," Mr. Clinton told reporters. "I had to stand up there and fake it for 15 minutes before 100 million people. Some people think I faked it for eight years before 100 million peopleI can see him doing a stand-up segment with cigar jokes and oval office sink jokes but after that what?
Arsenio Hall had a longer run than the toon ever will on teevee.

Maybe he'll do interviews with Monica Lewinsky. You won't see her. Her performance will be under the desk.

"I gave the State of the Union, and they didn't even have a teleprompter," Mr. Clinton told reporters. "I had to stand up there and fake it for 15 minutes before 100 million people. Is this another one of his lies? I recall a speech he gave (not State of the Union speech), he had a teleprompter, but they loaded the wrong speech and he had to wing it untill they loaded in the right speech.
Some people think I faked it for eight years before 100 million people."
Only your Presidency was faked. If you had faked the rest, there would have been no soiled blue dress.

My goodness! Think of all the stars he would attract! ~yawn~

"Plumb" is a good choice of words....after all, Clinton is "the Plumber". NBC has broadcasts enough crap without this...if they give Clinton a show, I foresee a boycott of all things NBC.

I like to think of him as perpetual punishment for all the people who enabled him in the first place... Unfortunately, the rest of us are the ones being punished. sigh...

Naturally, you're right- there are a lot of good people in this country who don't/didn't deserve all the rot this fraud and his pals inflicted on America.
Unfortunately, they won't leave us in peace- I view this story as just another excuse for the worshippers to chat & chatter about their little failed god one more time on TV...

The mind can so easily conjure appropriate titles for such a "show".....or even titles that we know it CANNOT be presented under: Such as: "Truth or Consequences", "To Tell The Turth"..
To: kattracks
We know you FAKED it Bill....but so did Monica.

This poor man - he is so desparate for attention, he will do anything to get it, even to giving up what shred of dignity he may have had left hanging.
