I admit to be a poor Mass Freeper. I only attended one Mass Freeper rally- it was during the "November Crisis" of the last presidential election. It was held in front of the State House on Beacon street. About 3 to 4 hundred pro Bush Protestors had gathered in front of the State house to protest Al Gore's disgusting legal tactics. I convinced 2 friends- who were only marginally Republican but Irate enough- to join me. It was Fun.

I admit to be a poor Mass Freeper.

There are many things that modivate us. I caught the end of the November FReep, I was working nights, sucks to be in the power biz, but I am older and my kids are grown.

The thing that a lot of FReepers don't realize is that it is not going out with a sign and yelling at an obvious enemy but getting active in your community and working to further the ideas of the Founders is the thing that counts.

Electric, Jonatron, Michaelje, Thirstyman, awestk,Peacecorpsguy, Lady Jane, Al from Wayland, seamole, and the others that I have forgotten who have shown up at the stuff that we do, we love you, but we are the visable part. You, who go to the City Council meetings, City Committee meetings, and make your voice heard are the heart of the NE Chapter of FReeRepublic, we make noise and we would love to have your help, but we need the work that YOU can do at the Local level.

There were definitely less jihadis this time. One of the guys on our side reminded them that they could only have their demonstrations because they live in a free country, and from the other side of the street, he said "You're right!"

The 'vibes' were much more benign this time, which had been very negative and disturbing last time.

The whole thing just kind of fizzeled out with both sides joking around from across the street and one pro-Israel guy saying "peace" and "go along" in arabic as they loaded their women into their car and left.

It was less hateful this time.

So maybe, just maybe these people are getting sick of supporting terrorist maniacs and starting to realize that the USA and Israel are the 'good guys' and Arafart is just a criminal gangster.
Even so, we didn't get a chance to say bye, they just kind of all vanished.
Well, I'm getting sleepy...g'night!

I nearly froze my old a$$ off in Portland after being surrounded by five cops with guns drawn, having a wants and warrents run on me after some, probably commie Mainiac, reported me carring a rifle, my FReepin' flags, to a Republican FReep. As the boss cop said "The Caller must not be a hunter. I haven't had that many guns pointed at me since I was in the Army

Are you kidding me?? I am in absolute amazement Bill.. Will there be a post on the Maine Freep Also? were you able to take pictures or were your cameras confiscated as possible weapons also? (Sarcasm)

The Sox, Red, ( this is Boston ) will stomp your sorry ass birds into the mud until the All Star game, and then the slow decline begins. The Sox ( Red ) will loose until the General Court is Conservitive again.

I know all about the curse. It especially hits home to me because Ruth was from my hometown of Baltimore but played for the "hated" Yankees. I would trade one winning O's season for a Sox World Championship. Of course only until we go through our so-called "Angelos" rebuilding period.

If you want a good time go see the Commies (Yankees a good discription of certain things that they practice. ) Play the Sox in the Bronx, an illness?

Back in the early 70's, the best FReepin' I ever saw was in the bleachers at Fenway, over looking the visitors bull pen when the Yankees were in town. $2.50 for a day game during the week, best baseball ever, some of the stuff I saw would get us all arrested.

The best part of it was that I and many of the people who went to the games went to high school with some of the players on the Sox. Remember Tony Conigliaro(SP) and no white shirts shirts in right field, my brother used to whoop on his when they went to high school to gether.

As a matter of fact, I did wear my new Freepin' hat and always will as long as the wind is not blowin' it into the street. It WILL remain white, after all.
