Let's have a common sense, "real people" answer to the warmed-over left-overs protesting President Bush's visit to raise funds for Bill Simon.

We need women in particular to show support for Bill Simon on Tuesday morning between 10:30 and 12:30 (when the President will probably start speaking)

Lager got inside. Just called almost in tears because he's so proud of Simon and Bush. Lager says President's speech was spectacular and moving. Been trying to keep this bumped up while you guys were freeping the anti Simon, anti Bush gang. Lager says the union thugs looked pretty goofy - trying to look like it wasn't an organized demonstration. From what Lager says, things went very well!! I'm soooo proud of you guys!!! For victory & freedom!!!

Hiya Saundra. I was there along with American Preservative. Deeel-me-in probably showed up after I spoke with Lager and Assemblyman Mike Briggs. I also spoke with Lynne Leach, Melanie Morgan and of course Mediaqueen.

There were some other young pro-Israeli ladies there too. But the union guys were there in force early on, followed by the pro-Palestine/anti-Israel crowd. A few pro-abortion types showed up too. The union goons were typical and tried to block our signs. There were a few union guys that were embarrassed by some that were there to protest Bush/Simon with their anti-military/anti-Israel rhetoric.

We dealt with a few raindrops along the way too. ;)

Does anyone know what happened yesterday? Pictures? Could not find, but just a small story in the paper quoting a protester, "your money your fault" Still trying to figure out what that means.

Fellow Freepers, I wasn't at the Freep for President Bush and Bill Simon because I was INSIDE hearing President Bush speak in San Jose. What a guy!! He not only looks GREAT in person (tanned, rested, take charge kinda'guy)but he comes across as EXTREMELY CONFIDENT AND SURE OF HIMSELF!!
I even got to SHAKE EL PRESIDENTE'S HAND!! Got some pics of him at the podium...will post them, if they are worthwhile. OLDLIZZIE
