How can anybody trust a "journalist" who has had to REVISE not one, but TWO books he has published because he was WRONG?????????? Toobin's hiring by Isaacson is just another questionable decision for CNN. How do you fight bias charges like that? The guy says in PRINT that Bush should not be president right now.
To: stromsfriend
Awwwwww, (as large crocodile tear hit's desk) that's too bad. I agree with you and am glad to see it.
CNN has done a better job of networking, IMO. They have a machine set up that is much better than Fox's, but their slant is so bad that I won't watch them. Haven't had CNN on for five minute since FoxNews came to my cable system.
I do feel that Fox is self-serving, but at least they're self-serving with a right leaning.

"Hell I will go on the show I mean I am The Director of Government Affairs for The African-American Republican Leadership Council. I wish I could find the contact information." Ask Walter! LOL: isaacson@aol.com

I say we send roger some support (roger.ailes@foxnews.com)
"You mean the Roger Ailes who hired Paula Zahn....Geraldo Rivera...Greta VanSusteren?
He has already heard plenty from me and I no longer watch Fox News Channel. Get all my news right here."
Granted Freep is the best resource on the Web, but come on. I think Ailes has done a fantastic job backing up the Fair and Balanced credo of Fox News by bringing in a wider rnage of voices- more credibility means our voice gets heard by more - look at how Fox has pummeled CNN in the past few months!
Now that's good for everyone

I haven't watched Crossfire in years, but I would tune it for THAT one! Go for it!

To: Trueblackman
Maybe you could send them an email here and tell them you want in: Crossfire@CNN.com
To: spald
That's disdain for Carville and Begala......'bout as funny as haggard old whores. Novak must be getting paid a lot for this, but at least he thinks he's right, I hope!
To: N. Theknow
I was very happy to see Zahn go...such a lightweight. When I saw how they replaced her....I turned them off. I don't need to hear it "fair and balanced"....just honest and non-biased news without the commentary. When they hired Whore-aldo, I knew it was all over.
To: stromsfriend
I haven't watched that show in years, and didn't like it at all then. Way to much cross-talk and interruptions and 'commercial breaks'. That Bugalla and Carvile are on doesn't face me at all. I wouldn't watch it regardless of who did it. The format stinks, IMHO. Talking heads I can watch --- screaming heads --- forget it.

Odds are Jeffrey Toobin was probably the neighborhood twit who was playing Barbis with his sister and her friends when he was 14 years old.
But, this is how grown-up Liberals take out their frustration at not "belonging" when they were kids. Same could probably be said of the 'Outer Limits' icon twins, Carville and Begala.
P.S. -- I watched 'Crossfire' for about 3 whole minutes one evening -- it's an embarassment.
To: Trueblackman
Email them. Ask the National Pubbies for contact numbers. You'll get on. (And get the cash too! $$$) :)
To: trueblackman
When you get there, be prepared for all questions to come in the form of: "when did you stop beating your wife?"
To: spald
The only redeeming aspect is the uncontained distain and dislike Novak has for Begala.Hmmm, I may have to tune in once just to behold that!

Kevin, please freepmail me if you get on. I would not turn on cnn otherwise and would not know if you were a guest. Have loved watching you in the past and would stomach a night of this crossfire show if you were on.
Thanks,
TC

AOL/Time Warner is bleeding and will become terminal if they don't stop the massive $ losses at CNN. Right on, as usual. I'm enjoying just sitting back and watching the death throes. The thing that strikes me is that the new "Crossfire" format is only a little more obvious than it's been since I started watching it in the 80s. I've long decried having Novak go up against even the likes of Bill Press, not because I dislike Novak but because he's rather inarticulate and tries to tell the truth. The truth is never as glitzy as the lies told by spinners like Press and the present gang . He also has the TV presence of a Richard Perle, known in the media as "The Prince of Darkness." In fact I think that's the nickname for Novak on that other CNN talking heads show with Margaret Carlson (from "Time," like Isaacson) I gave up watching several years ago.
Remember the old adage: a lie goes halfway around the world before the truth can get its boots on.

Paul, you might try taking some of your own advice. Show up here on FR and prove what a tough guy you are...or shut up. Agreed. And speaking for myself- I had eight years of the garbage they peddled- don't need any more of it.

Carville and BegalaI never waste my time watching these two because I know what they're going to say before they say it! Why bother to torture myself watching people I don't like, to learn nothing new.
