Notice that Freepers do it from home rather than from work.

What is pogo.com? It's a blocked site on my company's internet.
I'm like you. I keep one FR window open on my computer all day. At least twice an hour I refresh the page to see if something important is happening. Pogo looks to be an on-line gaming site...there's not enough time for games!

It's people who don't want to put out the effort to do something productive in life. I don't play the Lottery because it's throwing money away, but I will every other day or so spend 10 minutes at www.iwin.com or www.webstakes.com entering "free" contests. You have to read the "ads" but I can close those windows. Iwin.com has some okay games too.
But I don't sweat it if I can't get to those sites everyday. Unlike Hotel FReeperfornia - You can check out, but you can never leave...

For me it is per day.

An older, related thread:
On the Web, Small and Focused Pays Off (FR reference)
From the article:
If you think that so-called "stickiness" for a Web site is impressive, check out the Latest Articles page at conservative/libertarian discussion site FreeRepublic.com. Visitors, who call themselves Freepers, log an average of 2 hours and 32 minutes.

What was that pesky disclaimer again, "warning" that the FR forum could be "addicting"?? ;-)

I, personally don't even enter the 'free' ones. It's not free. They are taking up your time and time is the most valuable asset a person has.
Why even waste the time entertaining 'get-rich-quick' thoughts? The best and most rewarding income is that which comes from diligent hard work. Any idiot can win a lottery, and most of the time it is an idiot.
BTW, I never heard of Pogo.com and Bingo.com until this morning when I saw them on this thread. I was shocked at the volume of traffic these places get!! No wonder we are having a hard time maintaining a free republic in the USA. These same people fuel 'democracy' and have learned to legislate and legally plunder those who do work for a living.

It's not free. They are taking up your time and time is the most valuable asset a person has. I'm there a lot less now that we've put the TV and the PC in different rooms. But like I said, 5-10 minutes a few days a week. Usually while I'm waiting for my teenage son to get dressed for school...
