When Arafat was babbling on about "Is that acceptable? Is that acceptable?" I had to yell back at the TV that it was not accpetable. It is not acceptable that you are still the leader of the Palestinians. He needs to leave the stage.

As long as Arafat remains in charge, there will be no peace. That should be clear to every one and as long as certain parties cling to the myth of his indispensability, expect continued bloodshed. I have it said for a few weeks now and it bears repeating here again:
