No mention of further terrorist leads- no chance in color code status. Developing..

I was wondering the same thing. Our local radio station did an emergency Broadcast Test this morning - and it seems THAT would be a logical place to "announce" the current color code, or say something about it - but nada....

They are reporting in that 800+ post thread that the Pilot reported mechanical failure. Why would there be a need to evacuate anything if this is what they thought. Precaution seems to be a waste of time if they are sure the pilot reported mechanical failure. More to this then meets the eye? I think so.

I went to the Whitehouse link to the emergency code and it says "ELEVATED" - significant chance of terrorist attack. Anyone know how long it's been at THAT level? Just curious.
