If they did not buy Boeing passenger aircraft from us, they would buy AirBus from the French. This is a big to do about nothing. Of course the aircraft get registered and used for military purposes. So what? We also have most US carrier aircraft registered in CRAF (Civil Reserve Aviation Fleet) for reserve call up in national emergencies.

Of course the French would sell them aircraft for military purposes. The French hate the United States almost as much as the PLA. The question is why the United States is doing business with a criminal totalitarian regime which holds our soldiers hostage, subverts our government through espionage and, constantly threatens us.

I don't have a problem with the U.S. calling up civilian aircraft for military purposes. I have a problem with the U.S. providing the Communist Chinese with aircraft for military purposes. You see, I can tell the difference between THEM and US.
