OPEN LETTER TO CONGRESSMAN NETHERCUTT (About Traficant)

OPEN LETTER TO CONRESSMAN NETHERCUTT

Dear Congressman Nethercutt,

I'm writing to you today to ask you to oppose the expulsion of Congressman Traficant from the House of Representatives.

Rep. Traficant's trial took place in a Kangaroo Court. The judge didn't allow him to present most of his evidence, or to argue that the government had a vendetta against him.

The Judge, on more than one occasion, conducted proceedings that normally would be conducted in private, in front of the jurors.

Its obvious that Congressman Traficant's prosecution (or rather, persecution) was politically motivated. His behavior and tirades on the house floor exposed congress for what it is: A pathetic joke. He was colorful and entertaining in the midst of 434 insomniac therapists. He fought for what he believed in, in the midst of 434 men and women who were playing by the polls.

What's even more ironic, is that a congress chock full of big time crooks would even consider expelling someone convicted of such petty crimes.

Traficant should be given a congressional medal of honor for having the guts to stand up to the ambulance chasers at the justice department.

When Congress refuses to expel Gary Condit, a bona fide maggot, or Gerry Studds, a Pedophile who took advantage of a PAGE, it has no business expelling an American Hero! (Lets not forget the Senate's Failure to give the boot to Bill "The Big Thrill" Clinton!)

If Congress really wants to do something good for this country, it will initiate impeachment proceedings against Judge Wells for her numerous acts of impropriety during this trial. I would ask it to go out on a limb and elect Traficant Speaker- but that would require congress to swallow a little bit of pride along with its pork, and we all know that there's no chance of that happening.

I'm calling on you to do the right thing, and stand up for Rep. Traficant: One of the most honest men in the US Congress!

Beam me up Rep. Nethercutt,

Kyle Varner

We at "The Political Fire" are trying to get him on the show. And, I intend to fly down to Ohio and work in his campaign. As soon as I find out where to send a donation, his campaign is getting a fat check from me!

Bumping for James Traficant

AMERICANS DO NOT TRUST FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
October 31, 1997

Mr. Speaker, poll after poll suggests a growing problem in America. Many Americans do not trust the Federal Government. Pollsters keep trying to figure it out. I believe it is not all that complicated.

In my opinion, the American people in growing numbers do not trust the Federal Government because many Americans believe that the Federal Government does not always tell the truth. The pollsters can constipate all they want over this issue. This is no brain surgery. It is very simple. No truth, no trust. Trust and truth are inseparable.

I yield back Waco, Ruby Ridge, Pan Am 103, and Camelot.

This ol'gal represents United Parcel Service. They are totally unionized by the Teamsters.

Not likely that mob-infested operation would care too much if Traficant went away to prison for a long time.

So, why are you sending her a request?

Imagine Gephardt asking Trafficant to step down from Congress. He never said a word to Condit whose 'crime' was far more serious. Gephardt had no problem allowing Condit to remain on the intelligence committee.

Was Nethercutt a disciple of the Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens, who is also known for his treachery throughout the Northwest?

If Traficant's last name was Clinton then he wouldn't be in the mess he's in today. It's too bad beacause I really liked the guy. I firmly believe the remaining Reno justice dept had it in for him!

To All of the Posters: First, what makes Traficant "An American Hero"??? Please justify that staement!

Secondly, the big difference between Traficant and Condit is...Traficant had his day in court (where he played the fool and didn't obtain adequate counsel...something he can afford, but declined to do), and has been convicted! Condit (slime ball, weasel he is) has not.

Yes, the congress and execuive branch are both dirty...have been since the 60s...yet we vote these useless low life scum into office...and without really seeing their credentials!

Now Traficant will run for office again? Sure...fund raisers are a great source of income! Is he nutso? Must be...anyone with any kind of loyalty or dedication to office would graciously walk away...but I remiss...these are politicos...none of them have a sense of duty, honor country!

Why shouldn't the guy defend himself?

Ok, he's crook and his head looks like road kill. That doesn't mean he is NOT the subject of a Janet Reno vendetta. Janet has been warped ever since she realized she would never be half the looker Olympia Snow is, and sold out to the Clowntons, who have her most interesting FBI File (The one with the DUI's, corrupting the morals of a minor, D&D, etc.) Jimmy also has her files, and knows a great deal about Billy and Hilly.

I followed this trial close as I could. It should have been held in Australia. They know more about kangaroo stuff down under. Once this Jimmy T gets a real lawyer and a straight judge, he's walking.

By the way, who was on this jury? Anybody who could simultaneously read and write? Did they run'em over to the courthouse from homeless shelters, or the post office every morning in vans?

And why the rush to get Jimmy out of there BEFORE TAX DAY. Try him on the 16th, and he walks again, even with that OJ Jury.

I am worried that Clownton pals will try to Beam Jimmy Up before his time. Careful there, you with the nest in your hair!

It would be a sad irony if Nethercutt supported kicking Trafficant out. I say this because he's about 2 terms overdue from keeping his promise to the voters and leaving.

Too bad Traficant wasn't man enough to vote to impeach Clinton. I say let the judge lock him up and throw away the key.

You couldn't be more wrong. He screwed himself without a lawyer and its not going to get overturned.
