WHO HAS THE BETTER RATINGS???
Posted on 03/28/2002 8:51:39 AM PST by 7thson
I am curious and would like some Freepers to answer these questions. Who has the better ratings thus far - Alan Keyes or Greta Van Strusen? Where does one go to find out the ratings of specific programs on a dialy, weekly, monthly basis? I thank you in advance for your answers.

I would guess Greta, since she has the highest rated news show in cable news.

Yeah, this isn't even close. Greta started out slow, but then it was all over in a week and she never looked back.
Ailes is happy with his choice.

Keyes' show is unwatchable...it's an idiotic concept..having one of the finest conservative minds in the world listening to what a bunch of schlubs think......and MSNBC has no ratings to begin with.....so he gets no lead in.....

Who says? Where are the rating proof? At ten, I turn her off and turn on Alan Keyes.

Drudge reported a couple weeks back. Keyes' ratings barely discernable (even for a PMSNBC show)

Greta got a big boost form publicity from her surgery. Now people are watching to see how long the face will hold up. Last I saw one eye was noticeably bigger than the other.

Keyes needs to have the face tightened and maybe a tummy tuck.

Don't have the numbers, but Fox News makes sure to make it known every time they mention her show. "Now the most watched show in cable news"....

Keyes is kind of growing on me, it was clumsy to watch at first but he seems to be getting better. I usually look at the guests and subjects and flip between the two however I usually end up on msnbc.

Though 1938's The Adventure of Robin Hood with Errol Flynn comes on Turner Classic Movies tonight at 10:30 (7:30 PT). Austrian composer Erich Wolfgang Korngold often said that the film's score marked the contrasts of good and evil based on his own experiences of exile from Hitler's Europe.

I agree with you--I've started watching his show more and more--the "man on the street" people are gone, at least from what I've seen--and a selection of very interesting experts appear instead, and are given time to actually get whole sentences out.

I think the Nielson ratings system is where most of the network and cable info comes from. If I'm not mistaken, Nielson charges for their services. The last time Drudge reported cable ratings figures, Gutter Van Susteren was at 900,000 viewers, while Keyes was down around 230,000. That may have changed recently.
To: 7thson
I don't watch either. Greta isn't attractive enough and Alan talks too fast.
