Pipes is saying there can be no real peace until Israel's neighbors have a change of heart AND a change of regime. That is telling me that he believes that in order to move forward, Israel must not only replace the terrorist arafat, but de-nazify syria, lebanon, the west bank, gaza, and Iran. Ha! At this point, I think that de-nazify means de-populate. I suppose that "ethnic cleansing" (gently moving the arab populations out) of Gaza and the West Bank combined with regime changes in Syria and Iraq would be a huge change for the better.
