That was a great line. He really hasn't aged well at all. And he was so handsome when he was young. But I never thought he was much of an actor. He always sounds so off giving his lines.

What a shock! Redford's going to tell us how he feels about himself and his award. He's now talking about his 'legacy'. Clintonian.

Here comes the Sundamaged Kid!! He has had a lot of work done in the last few months. It is subtle, not overdone, but the face neck and upper lids have all been tightened

You are so right. I'm waiting for his deeply serious message for the night.
To: F16Fighter
I read that the necklace she is wearing was worn by Nicole Kidman. but it had to be doubled enlarged in size to get around that hog neck.

You are probably right. If not a direct attack, look for an indirect remark.

Has that "hair" been shampooed yet this century?
To: contessa machiaveli
redford had his eyes done I was thinking the exact same thing. That constant look of surprise is pretty spooky.

I've read that Robert Redford will never have any work done on his face. Unfortunately, he is not growing old gracefully. But I will give him some points for not having work done.

Well we just had the first dig... freedom of expression and diversity. Do they know that Tipper Gore is one of the biggest 1st amendment offenders???
To: StarFan
The singer has already been mentioned here tonight.

ah keeping diversity alive

Brad Pitt can easily replace Redford as an actor - Redford is expendable --- Anthony Quinn wasn't. hmmm... nope, Antonio Banderas doesn't have it to take over for Quinn.
To: hole_n_one
In that picture you posted it seems that Redford is beginning to morph into Gary Condit.
To: eddie willers
I'll second that...

I had the framed poster of Speechless for years and gave it to a pal who had always admired it, when I moved cross-country. The Chuck Jones stuff I have is NEVER going to be given away - there's no one image that can cover all he's done!
OK, I'm gonna get slammed for this, but personally I though BS came off rather classy just now. Yeah, she's a big mouth full of crap, but in her role tonight she looked good and did fine.
And Redford is one of the greats. But his speech is about as boring as it gets. Blah, blah, blah...he just blew a great tribute and intro. "As a great actor, I just can't think..."
