Can you believe that Sally wore flats with that dress? Everyone knows that drag queens wear pumps.

NO! She did NOT show up looking like that! Was she on TV? Has she gone by Joan yet? That would be most entertaining!

Whoopie had better not say an unkind word about GWB or I will personally hunt her down and kick her in the shins!

I hope that we see some gowns that look like evening gowns. I'm so sick and tired of seeing scrawny actresses wearing flimsy slip-like garments. Am I the only one who is bored by the pastel spagetti straps and hard nipple look that passes for haute couture these days? Meow.

I was thinking the same about Whoopie. She better keep her ugly, no eye-brows face shut!

I agree with you. These people are largely overpaid, but influential liberals who help purchase the ongoing misery caused by the liberal agenda in this country. There was a time when Hollywood was just glamour and fame and that crowd stayed respectably out of the mainstream and there were limits of good taste. This has not been true for many long years. These are people who are so puffed up with self-importance that they have no concern for what's real. The women look trashy as all get out with their breasts falling out of their clothes or visible through their clothes. The Academy Awards used to be a family event in front of the television. If I had a young child now, no way would I allow them to watch this glorification of sleaze.

That said, I do plan to watch, but only because I am so enthralled with Lord of the Rings and want to see it do well. Considering the trash it's up against I personally don't see how it could lose, but then we are talking about Hollywood types who probably don't even have the attention span to FOLLOW the story, let alone appreciate it.

just can't stand Julia Roberts, if she makes another chickflick crapfest garbage movie

The kids and I just saw Ocean's 11 at the cheap theater last night, and it was an okay movie except for every part that involved Julia Roberts. bleeeah -- my sons do not find her in the least bit attractive, and her storyline ruined the plot, it was so stupid.

I had no intention of watching. I'd rather watch the films than discuss films. But this is different... no faves for me. I do wonder which liberal icon will contract foot-in-mouth disease. Thanks for the thread Legs.
