MIDI - HOORAY FOR HOLLYWOOD
They suck in Hollywood
the leftist pinko scum in Hollywood
Theyre really proud that they destroyed our culture
each money vulture
Laughs as he goes to the bank
They give opinions to all their minions
Who believe them when its the fans they thank
They suck in Hollywood
theyre so political in Hollywood
They claim compassion that is very phony
its all baloney
They covet each others wives
Its T & A theyre grabbing
into backs theyre stabbing
They lead such scandalous lives
They suck in Hollywood
weve really heard enough from Hollywood
They play a role and then theyre testifying
but whos relying
On what these airheads will say
Theyre merely acting and fan attracting
Why do people give them the time of day?
They suck in Hollywood
how many breasts are real in Hollywood?
Its for our planet that they say theyre caring
theres no ride sharing
Theyre in their own limousine
And as I watch them fake it...I'll no longer take it
Theyre reading lines in a scene

I am so glad that Charlton Heston's name is not up there in that song. Also happy with the fact that Ronald Reagan is missing from the list.

What a GREAT prelude to the Emmys!!!! What a self serving bunch of idiots!!! As always thanks for the laughs!
P.S.Just realized today is my 4th anniversary of being an official freeper. Told hubby he lost me 4 years ago today. His reply was he didn't lose me, he gained another family...awwwwwwwww Thanks again!

Congratulations on your anniversary.
I'm a mere infant in comparison, but I did gain a family, or more precisely a husband to be, here at FR. One month after I joined, I got a private message welcoming me. One message led to another, to lots and lots (hundreds literally) to telephone calls (we lived precisely 2,847.6 miles apart.) A lot closer now (in every way), we got engaged on February 14!!!!

Like your poem.
The sad thing is, the creeps in Hollywood (or "Holywood" to the masses) are the heros and heroines of our society. Next to sports heros, it's they that "we" spend our time and money on. I know of very few people who don't anxiously await the next Flick or spend their days and nights glued to the TV.
My financee recently asked me "If you could have been born at any time you wanted to be, when and where would it be." My reply----late 1800's, before TV and movies---and in NYC or a metro area, for the culture. Assuming, of course, that I would also be a person with some wealth.
But I'm guilty too. We rarely watch anything on TV but news and news-type talk shows (Not the daytime garbage!) But we do rent movies---especially those with Ed Norton who usually plays a psycho of some sort. Guess it helps to think that there are those worse off!!!

What a great story. May you and your "soon to be" have many conservative patriot baby freepers who are willing to fight the fight for years to come!!!!!

Alas, we can have no children. (I do have two from a previous marriage though.) I had cancer a few years ago---radical hysterectomy---(one of the reasons my first marriage ended in divorce---my Ex just wasn't there for me.) But Dead Culture Watch and I, in that we are "older" will have a full and rewarding life without children of our own. My kids adore him and he loves them as well!!!!

Have been remiss in doing a self-search and noticed that one of your finest yet did not include my personal ping. Can't say I blame you but don't repeat it, LOL. What's sad is that these brainless wonders, with their inflated sense of importance, have an huge audience who they mold into believing they truly walk on water. Cher and Sara Heartburn telling us their views on GWB. Puleeze!

Speaking of New York in the 1800s, have you read Jack Finney's book Time and Again?
To: justapatriot
Yes, loved it!!!!!!

Ya gotta do a companion song lampooning the mindless twits who worship celebrities. Something along the lines of "If I Only Had a Brain".

Best wishes. What a wonderful FR story.
To: Captain Shady
Charleton Heston, Ronald Reagan, Bruce Willis (I think), Arnold (the muscleman, not the pig), Pat Sajak -- who else?

Guess what---YOU played a role in "us." It was you who introduced Dead Culture Watch to FR!!!! He just told me that if it were not for you, he would have never come to FR and hence never met me.
Thank you from the bottom of my Heart!!!

Hubby and I are without children (not by choice but okay with it) but have raised the most conservative animals you have ever met... They work for their breakfast and dinner and in between snacks and will never BEG at the dinner table (except to grandma and grandpa when we're not looking LOL). Hope your health maintains....and best of luck in your nuptuals.

raised the most conservative animals Oh boy, do I need your advice. We have two adorable cats!!!! Neither or which are anywhere near conservative on these standards. Heidi begs insistently to play with the laser light every time we sit down at the table (which we do mostly to play Scrabble rather than eat.) And Woody rules the house--but adorably. I am forever "rearranging" and he makes sure it meets with his approval!!!! I think that's part of the reason he remains a little "aloof."

Big time happy anniversary! I'm a couple months away from big No. 5. (I think it's No. 5)
