Great in depth article, Tom Burnett's wife also says that before getting on the plane September her husband was having 'visions' of varoius sites in Washingtom including the White House.

Burnett, a devout Catholic took it as a sign from God that he would be called on to somehow serve his country in the nations capital.

Sad to say Muslims do not have a monopoly on fundamentalist imperialism, terroristic tendencies, an inability to live civilly with those they disagree with, or the complete lack of respect for human dignity.

Name another religion that crashes a plane into a buidling killing thousands. Or sets off bombs in oder to kill as many civilians as possible. Sorry, pal. The evidence is against you.

Unless you are referring to ACT-UP and the violent hatred of Catholics.

As the old saying goes, your right to swing your fists ends where my nose begins. I don't believe you have the right to forcefully impose your beliefs on someone who is in polar disagreement with you, even if you do feel called by God.

Running my own life is a full time job. I don't have time or inclination to run, or suggest how other people should run their own lives.

It doesn't. What are you and texlok, gay apologists, or maybe queers yourselves?

I can't speak for GSWarrior, but I'd say we are people who can have a rational discussion about an event, an event that has nothing to do with anybody's sexuality, and not resort to childish name-calling like yourself.

I don't approve of homosexuality, but I also don't approve of many things. The difference between you and I, I don't go around thinking about what people do in their bedrooms.

I dont' care that he was gay, I don't think the people on that flight cared, I don't think the terrorists cared. The only thing I care about, he did what anybody in his situation should do, and that was, take action.

Why do you believe it comes as a result of actions unrelated to his sexual proclivities, NittanyLiberal?

Because I believe God will judge people based on all their actions, as opposed to sending them straight to Hell because they're gay. IOW, I don't think God is as obsessed with one issue as people like yourself, and might see past the homosexuality if the person lived an otherwise upstanding life.

Your inventing an interpretation of my words that was entirely absent from what I said.

I was actually referring to the "Reverend" Fred Phelps and Neil Horseley, and their like-minded ilk here.

in your hearts of hearts, do you believe that Mark Bingham, hero at the last, is in heaven?

I have absolutely no idea if he is heaven or hell.

I dont' care that he was gay,

You should, for his sake.

I don't think the people on that flight cared, and neither would have I.

Of course, not, texlok, they cared about surviving the ordeal, and then foiling the 'jackers role in their "attack on America". I don't think the terrorists cared.

Or knew. The only thing I care about, he did what anybody in his situation should do, and that was, take action.

Nice that Bingham did. Nevertheless, he is still a poster boy for the gay cause.

Do you vote? If you do then you're supporting forcing your beliefs on others. You also support the use of deadly force to do so. Your statement is lacking in substance.

Yes, GSW, it is a yes or no question? To me, the answer is "no".

In spite of being Gay he was still a hero! If he was also a Republican, then he couldn't have been all bad.

He maybe a poster boy for the gays, but that should not take away from what he did in the final minutes of Flight 93.

Gays are using him for their agenda, just as you are using him for yours. I think both sides in this instance are in the wrong and using a national tragedy for their own gains is disturbing.

btw, I can't make the call whether he is in heaven or hell, only God can really do that. I do know, if he is going to hell, there are many people in line in front of him, because homosexuality isn't even in the top 10 sins. I don't know where/if it ranks in the sin hierarchy, but it's clearly not in the top 10. But I also don't see (as somebody else pointed out) God judging somebody based on just one aspect of their life.

I do not know what the will of God is. I pray for the courage to accept it, whether it causes me joy or sorrow.

If the plane was shot down, why wouldn't the government take credit for getting at least one thing done right?

Who would have looked at the WTC and the Pentagon and faulted the government for that action?

What is your problem? I hope your interpretation of the Scriptures is better than your intepretation of my responses to your posts.
