Trent is in "Hair and Make-up" getting that final layer of varnish on his 'do.
They are also making sure he hasn't grown a spine, miraculously.

Hitlery will be fun to watch. I'm tickled pink by the femme fatale class in the Senate for once chorusing that rape's a beautiful beautiful thing and we need it now. The irony of what they're arguing for is of course beneath them. But it needed to be said.

Last time the RNC called, my husband asked the fundraiser if they knew what the restrictions were going to be under campaign finance reform. Since the person was totally uninformed about the bill. He told them to try calling back later when they knew what the rules were - he didn't want to violate any laws by giving them anymore money. He really enjoys finding new ways to tell the RNC to get lost.

I never watch these things. It's much more fun to just read and participate on the threads. Watching tends to make me want to vomit and sometimes I fear I may do actual physical damage to the TV!! Poor thing, it takes so much verbal abuse it really doesn't need the physical abuse as well. LOL!

Well, I just tuned in and Sen. Dodd is pontificating!
There seems to be no limits to their self-righteousness!!
To: DJ88
Okay, I think it was WRhine that you disagreed with! My husband has done the laundry this morning but I promised to make a real dinner tonight! It's snowing like crazy here, the first day of Spring, so I may have to take the cross country skis out for a spin today. Should be a good way to burn off some exasperation!

GAG! Harry Reid of Nevada praising Dodd now. What an extremely difficult bill this has been to manage. Puke. Daschle will be the last to speak.
Feingold speaking now. Still no sign of Senator McCain.

You should just do like I do and live in a messy house. I mean, we have to have our priorities in life. LOL!

Carnahan says voters understand the dangers of money in politics. They have seen Enron...
So me the Enron amendment in this bill, Jean!!! This bill will not do a damn thing about preventing another Enron!

I betcha John McLame will reserve his time so he's next to last. Then after that there's vote but I wouldn't hold my breath on the outcome.
