Actually, I was wondering if the guy holds the Old Testiment belief that woman and children are lesser beings than men. Original sin; women are evil because any creature who can bleed for five days and still live is evil, spare the rod and spoil the child...that sort of thing.

Actually, that belief is, once again, a distortion of scripture. Women were never seen biblically as being lesser than men, only different. There are many examples of women heroines in the Old Testament. The thing about women bleeding - the actual translation of "unclean," is SACRED. Scripture has always been wrongly used to justify people's own selfish motives and actions.
