Report: CIA warns Germany, Britain of bomb attacks

BERLIN - The United States' Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has warned Germany and Britain about possible bomb attacks by members of Osama bin Laden's al-Qaida network, Germany's Focus magazine reported on Saturday.
Citing a memo circulated on March 8 by Germany's BKA federal police authority, the magazine said the CIA tip-off was based on surveillance of two suspected al-Qaeda members in Pakistan.
The two were quoted by the CIA as saying there would soon be "good news" about bomb explosions in Germany and Britain. According to the report, due to be published in Focus magazine's Monday edition, the BKA classed the CIA alert as "vague" because it did not mention any time, target or method.
***But the authority said the fact there could still be al-Qaida "sleepers" in Germany meant security services should assume there was "an unchanged high risk situation in Germany".
Germany has been a center of the worldwide investigation into the September 11 hijacked plane attacks on U.S. cities since it emerged that three of the four kamikaze pilots studied in the northern city of Hamburg.
A German government spokeswoman declined to comment on the report but said that American and German security services remained in close contact with one another.
Maybe since they have been thrown into disarray by the Afghanistan campaign, they are like a cornered animal, lashing out at anything and everything, friend or foe. Trying to stay relevant, and on the front pages (like a certain ex-President).
After I posted that, I was thinking that the way we think and the way they think is so much different. They do not look at GOP/Democrat, Left/Right etc. In their eyes, the West is equally evil, it's just that we (the USA) are richer and more powerful than the other Western countries. The tree with the most apples attracts the most bats. And yes, they are planning on taking over Europe as well.
Well, they do have a lot of friends in Europe, but they have a lot of friends in America as well.
Have we forgotten who was on ourside when the sh*t hit the fan. Okay leave the french out, they are well known commies basta*ds,
but the Germans and the Brits have been behind the US 100%.
Of course there will be disagreements between countries on how the individual country conducts policy, But over all I do believe that Germany and England would (and if you look they also lost troops in this engagement)would back us up.

We are fighting a just war. Behind the scenes, the Euros support US(A). Many "intellectuals" in Europe (and the USA) "hate" (is that irony or what?) any fighting especially against evil. Any terroristic attacks on Europe, while abhorent, would further steel Western Civilization to the correct course. We must stay the course and keep the faith.
