Helen Thomas reminds me of the actor who played Doberman? on the Phil Silvers Show.

He was one homely guy. She's got enough homely to start a wholesale outlet store.

Whenever, you see anyone complaining about the success of the freepathon and the celebration of those who worked so hard and those who contributed.

You need to ask just one question?

Why is this individual so upset that we were successful in exceeding our goal for Free Republic?

Last year's March fundraiser went way past St. Patrick's day.

You made more than just JimRob happy with your donation. I am happy you contributed to the cause, even if I (and others) had to nag you into submission. (I'm a mom and a wife. I'm doubly good at nagging.) hehehe

I would have donated earlier, but I thought we were only going through Paypal & I never could get my credit cards & my paypal password in the same place at the same time--and THEN I found out we didn't have to go through PP! It was one of those D'OH times :-)) Next time, my meager donation will come a lot earlier.

Wasn't you it was AFVetGal. I had to duck Hillary's braids everytime she posted it. Got me once in the eye though!

Glock is sick and is operating his computer under the influence of anti histamines!

However, I'm feeling great and only under the influence of celebration, and I agree with him!

Thanks - just expressing my annoyance with those that compain about what we do every 3 months.

The complainers could easily help to put a stop to it.

I'm pinging SJackson, who forgot to put down a state. Maybe you could move her donation from NeverNeverLand to...um, whatever state SJackson is in.

My new daughter-in-law just registered three days ago and immediately sent in a hefty donation!

She instinctively realized the value of this forum to our country, a concept certain users, abusers and FRloaders never worry their heads about!

Congratulations to all who gave their all in this great Freepathon! Yippee!
