Oh goodie, the 25th thread on the subject!

I have to admit that I believe the Constitution provides sufficient governmental guidance than a reliance on a 'shadow govt'. If things are so traumatic that a shadow govt must be formed, I'd orefer to see an intuitive reliance on the Constitution and God than reliance on the status quo as a goal of a shadow govt.

There is and never was a shadow government. A shadow government weilds power. What our government was to set up a contingency plan to continue governance in case of disaster. Even stupid people can grasp that simple principle.

A Shadow Government Is Good Because ...Then you have something to complain about.
But, of course, is they didn't plan for any eventually, and if something else does happen, you would have been the first one to complain that they hadn't done anything.

Even stupid people can grasp that simple principle. Then why are the mainstream media and the Democrats foaming at the mouth over the so-called "shadow government?"
Oh, never mind.

I like your post. But, wow, are things this bad that we are forced into declaring the obvious?
Yet, what should I expect from a country that has said homosexuality is a good thing. This forces people to say, "Hey, wait a minute, no it's not!". Those people's voices are slowly silenced. All the good things are replaced with the bad things. That is the trend.

Come on now, I know what those volunteer fire and ham radio operators are doing when they meet at the station on Saturday mornings. Oh sure, they look like their are carrying boxes of donuts, but I know better....

What a sucker.
It doesn't matter what they 'say' it is for. What matters is that they condition you to accept the concept. Today they say it is for one thing, tomorrow it is used for another. The shadow govt is nothing new, of course. Yet somebody decided now was the time to begin the conditioning process. Bush I did the same thing with the phrase NWO. The NWO folks were in business decades before Bush I brazenly used the phrase in an inaugural address. Now we have this. It's creepy.

There are some situations where just knowing the fundamentals clear up the fog for the stupid ones among us. Just mention to the stupid people you meet that shadow governments weild real power and this is not what has been established in our country. But I guess Forest was right, stupid is as stupid does. Ain't that right Annie? :-)

Then why are the mainstream media and the Democrats foaming at the mouth over the so-called "shadow government?"Poor Tom Daschle is publicly upset about this. His reaction only reinforces the notion that he is out of the loop. And it could make people wonder if Daschle really doesn't like the idea of a stable Executive Branch.

Maybe we would just like to live by the Constitution of the United States.
Hmmm?

You're right. And I know that since the company I work for has a disaster recovery plan that they are actually planning on not being there Monday morning when I show up to work. I just know it...

I never call anyone stupid, but I recognize a backup plan when I see it! Just wish I had a better one for my harddrive....
