Certainly agree with #40- thanks for flagging me; been offline most of the day trying to download some of those "free" files for a backup browser I'm working on ( and using now...)--

Do you think President Bush had much to do with the decision?

...the endangered suckerfish for which the water was diverted last year doesn't need as much water as previously thought.

Well, how do ya like that?

Congratulations!

Here's hoping you don't have any Spotted Kangaroo Rats running around.

"Do you think President Bush had much to do with the decision?"

I do, after all we have been FReeping him since last spring about this issue.
And over 30,000 people signed the Petition to turn the water back on.

Congratulations! Wonderful news for all of you who worked so hard. President Bush spoke of it when he was there and I was wanting so much to believe him.

And I want to believe this is the end of the farmers' problems because to buy seed, reseed into prepared soil, etc., etc., is going to be very costly for those farmers who haven't gone out of business over this fiasco.

What wonderful news for the farmers that have been able to hold on.
I feel so sorry for the farmers that have already lost their farms due to
the inviro whackos and their cause.

Thanks Tonkin for the flag

What wonderful news, but what a shame that these people have had to go through all this to use what belongs to them legally anyway. The E.P.A. needs to be cleaned up and all liberal U.N. workers replaced, deported, ran out of town on a rail, tar and feathered....

Good on ya for your efforts, amigo!

Sort of wondering if the bureaucrats aren't hedging their bets, though.

Give them the water they need and are entitled to Mr. Bush!

"It's water. There are never guarantees when dealing with a natural resource," he(Keys) said.

What has been the historical record of water availability for the farmers. Until the wackos came along, were there seasons the farmers went without because of drought, etc?

These govt people sure are arrogant. Doleing out water that isn't theirs, and saying that "it should be enough" as though they hold the keys to life and death.

Time to feed the hogs.
