When will someone Poll americans about how we feel about Islam

I am just curious I have seen so much drivel on the news about how the islamic world hates the west so much and in particular America. Well lets turn the tables on the liberal establishment. How many people in america, britian,and sensible european countries HATE ISLAM And the muslim world. For me this is such an easy question, since i was in High school in the 80s I have seen nothing but the Islamist hurting and killing americans, jews and europeans. Then to top it off when i am thirty with two precious daughters I see them murder three thousand + americans in a two and half hr period. IT is time to stop being so damn nice to these evil SAVAGES, The islamist make Hitler look like a boy scout our what ever little sick institution the germans had. Well enough said I want input from people please I dont want to feel like a lone dove here. Cause I hate islam and everything to do with it. IMHO

I bet that if Gallup did the same poll they did in the arab countries in western Europe, they would also get negative results. Maybe not 80% but at least 40% of more of the French and Germans hate us. And I wouldnt complain about the arabs believing that the Jews or someone else was responsible for the WTC as probably a third of those on Free Republic believe everything that happens in the world is controlled by the NWO / Trilateral Commision / Council on Foreign Relations / Bilderbergers. They also believe in Black Helicoptors and UN troops invading the US.

As far as polling Americans about Islam, I think you would be surprised. I believe most are able to differentiate between a few terrorists and the rest of Islam.

I did a brief poll here in my cubicle and the vote was 100% against the policies and religion of Islam. In favor of starting JIHAD against Islam 1 Those against, 0 'IN ORBE TERRUM NON VISI'

The problem is that too many don't understand that Muslims who come to America don't
check these views at the border on their way in. We have a growing segment of our
imported population that probably harbor ill will or at least a negative view of us.

BEFORE 9-11, I gave only limited credence to that point of view.
AFTER 9-11, and listening to the stories of Coptic Christians from Egypt,
the "Lost Boys" (Christian boys who survived the slayings of their families by
Muslim government troops), Hindus/Indians oppressed by Muslims, and the Abu Sayyeff operating
in the Phillipines....
I can only see Islam, no matter how presented, as a religion of spreading their
gospel "by any means necessary".

I find the Phillipines case really disturbing...with the 10% of the population wanting
to run the other 90% of the country.

Dubya was right on the money when he said the present conflict was going to last a LONG time.

Are you saying that there are Zen Buddhist terrorists? That must be a very interesting form of attack that they employ. Seriously, though, sure, Islamic terrorists are the most visible in 2002 for obvious reasons, but there are plenty of others out there. Who cares what the Germans and French think. Ingrates all of them! And the reason the Arab countries hate us is because they are taught in their religious schools that we are evil. I am neither a nazi or skin head I am probably more tolerent then you are but my generalization was that In ww2 there were 250 million germans and that not all 250 million were nazis. AND with islam there is somewere between 900 million and 1.5 billion who all read the koran, And listen to the men in the dirt night shirts. So I am just saying that we have a bigger problem today and that the islamist are more evil then the nazis in some ways.. AnD I TAKE IT VERY hard you saying i am a nazi. YOu dont know me fool.

Islam has its extremists, but so does every religion

Islam has more than its share of extremists, as I've been finding out. I started reading up on this and suggest everyone do the same. Go to a bookstore and get some books. First I would suggest you get a copy of Steve Emerson's newest, called "American Jihad." It will open your eyes.

A few terrorists? There are estimates by Daniel Pipes, a noted expert, that 10-15% of the moslem world is extremist. That is much, much more than a few. Please read the book by Steve Emerson, "American Jihad." I'm recommending everyone do that.
