THE WASHINGTON TIMES Hillary and Laura. The contrasts are endlessly striking: blonde versus brunette, policy wonk versus librarian, a betrayed wife versus America's mother. "If you ever wanted a contrast, you've got it with these two women," says Betty Winfield, a University of Missouri journalism professor.

SATAN! Are you serious MissEdie?!

Hitlery makes SATAN look like a choirboy.

Come on, you can do better than that! . . . Top

A better comparison would be the First LADY and the First BITCH! Hillary is in a class of self-important nasty personalities that we all have to put up with. Laura is a lovely intelligent woman. I don't think the term 'woman' can be applied to Hillary as there is little that is feminine about her. True feminists hate Hillary..

Although "evil" covers it for me currently, the perfect word would be "deceased."

This makes her (one of) the most powerful insider(s) in the nation.

Absolutely. Power-grabbing wives never understood the role of the mate who supports her husband and remains her own person all the while. She is his most valued ally. When he is in a position of power, so is she. My husband often says that people do not realize that women truly rule the world--through their impact on their husbands. Fortunately, we now have a first lady who is worthy of the role.

In this day and age, isn't it normal to connotate wholesome with non-smoking??

Your senseless nit-picking is noted, and for that matter is laughable. Obviously the character of someone like Hillary Clinton better defines the word wholesome because she does not smoke. Perhaps you should become aware of the whole picture of the whole person before making such an insulting and idiotic comment.

She is not even the most powerful woman in America, according to Ladies Home Journal, who awards that distinction to talk-show diva Oprah Winfrey.

What about Condi Rice? Or is this awards list just limited to democrats like every other puliblication in the nation?

," but still she's in a helpmate role"

Imagine that. Someone who is married is in the help mate role. Mind boggling.

I just find it so refreshing not to gag when the president and first lady hold hands--- and such relief to no longer have to witness the sight of a first couple walk hand-in-hand with their grown daughter across the White House lawn.

If I feel this good about and grateful for the Bush's "wholesome and solid...(and, may I add: loving) marriage" ---I can't help but imagine how wonderful this makes Hillary feel.

"I'm with you Retired. Just one question: What one word describes Hitlery?!"
I'm not gonna say it , it wouldn't be prudent, but it rhymes with "runt"!

Satan = "Anti-Christ"

Hillary = "Anti-Laura"

Therefore,

Hillary = Satan

(Not quite perfect logical syllogism, but oh well--LOL!)

Obviously brash assumptions are your specialty. Right up there with insulting and idiotic over-reactions...

"is not as humorless and unimaginate as she leads people to believe"

Who ever said she was humorless and unimaginative? It was Hillary who always seemed humorless to me, although she was certainly imaginative when it came to lieing.
