Seattle police are trying to track down four Hispanic men for possible hate-crime charges after they crashed a house party in Ballard early yesterday and trounced several white guests because they felt like "beating up some white guys," police said.
A 17-year-old Crown Hill boy suffered head and body injuries and remained in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center yesterday.
Partygoers at the house in the 1500 block of Northwest 60th Street told police that the four, in their 20s, showed up uninvited about 12:30 a.m. All were dressed alike in blue FUBU-brand jackets and black pants.
A teenage girl was holding the party in her home because her mother was out of town, police said. No one knew the four men.
One of the men asked a partygoer, a 21-year-old black man, "Do you feel like beating some white guys?" according to a police report.
The black man said no and stepped out back to smoke. When he came back inside, he told police, he saw the men jump the white Crown Hill teen, knock him to the floor and punch and kick him repeatedly.
Another partygoer tried to help the teen, but the attackers punched him in the face several times, police said. Several other guests also were punched, police said.
The attackers left the Crown Hill teen lying on the front steps and ran to a red or maroon Toyota Corolla, witnesses said. Then two came back and kicked the teen in the head a few more times. Then they all sped off in the car.
Police say the girl who hosted the party could be charged with alcohol possession. After sending everyone home, officers collected about 50 beer and liquor bottles from the house.
Bottles and cans have fingerprints on them.
Typical. Maybe she should be charged with something but it's always easier to charge the victim rather than find the real criminals. After all, you have the victim in hand and you would have to go out and find the criminals. And the victim is less likely to resist.

Jeeze Louise, the car should been bombarded with those beer bottles.

Good thing they were suspected of being hispanic. White guys or black guys and this would not have even been reported to the cops, let alone the media. I mean, its not like they shot and killed anybody. And its not like they were having sex or doing drugs. and the music wasn't too loud obviously or maybe it was softcore rap which would be an obvious incite to violence. Good thing they all were wearing the exact same clothing so the description of the party crashers were not disputed thus focusing on the alchol consumption by underage white kids.
......So then Sheriff Obie made us all go down and clean up the garabe after the judge was presented with 48 8X10 glossy pictures with tables and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one to show how we arranged the garabage.........

This will continue to happen as long as the blinders stay on, because the bad guys will continue to represent their various ethnic groups if they're not disowned, and they're not being disowned. I guarantee one thing - if we can go through last year's Mardi Gras murder and still insist on the party line that race wasn't involved, it will recur. And further, if the guys at the party last night had responded with gunfire they'd be sitting in jail today charged with a "hate crime" and the Times would be agonizing over how evil we all are.
I always thought that it stood for "Philosophically Confused."
I doubt there was even a gun in the house. Ten to one states these people are all good little liberals. That is true for most of the West coast.
It's funny (in a horrible, repressive kind of way) that NASA actually had that as their banner logo on their agency phone book a few years ago. So, if I understand it from NASA's perspective, as long as we have all races/sexes/people who claim to have sex with certain things/etc. working on something it will work very well. Inteligence has nothing to do with it.
