KABUL, Afghanistan, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Al Qaida may have tried to kill former President Clinton while he was in office, UPI has learned.

According to documents found at a terrorist training base near Kabul, one attempt may have failed or been abandoned, and there were plans for another attempt on Clinton during a golf tournament.

But, this can't be true. After all, Clinton was in favor of the "Kyoto Protocols". And after 9/11 we were all told that the reason Those People Hated Us was because we were being Too Unilateral About Stuff Like the "Kyoto Protocols". In fact that's what the whole attack was about.

Therefore, I can only assume that Al Qaeda had no problem with Clinton. Right? ;)
