CPAC LIVE! | RikaStrom, the Shrew, LurkernoMore, Exit148, IronJack, FREEPERS

Posted on 02/01/2002 6:52:32 AM PST by RikaStrom

Hello Everyone. We are live from CPAC. The Shrew and Iron Jack are doing an interview right now, so I have the honor of starting the thread.

We've got a full day today with interviews. they are going to interview Art Linkletter and several execellent conservative activists. I will list everyone as soon as I get all the names.

Today we still have Abner and her husband's helium balloon. It is terrific. I want a ride in it! :-)

LurkerNoMore is taking pictures of the days events and Exit 148 and Angelwood are manning the Free Republc Network booth and we are introducing new people to FR as fast as we are able.

I just heard from Iron Jack that we are also interviewing Grover Norquist and Matt Robinson, so post your questions for them here.

Make sure to tune into FR Radio to here the news.

We'll post the excitment as it happens!

I'll make sure that the FReepers that are here post their accounts. So far this morning I've seen Interesting Times, Ms. Antifemanazi, Exit 148, Angelwood, Iron Jack, The Shrew, One_Particular_Harbour, Sourpod, ReaganGirl, Dubyaismypresident. They'll all check in later I'm sure.

RikaStrom signing off for the moment

you, and the other classmates who were left behind, were sorely missed, especially Max !

Why thank you sweet thang... ;) Mayhap I won't be so damn busy next year... The Boss was riding my hairy Republican a$$ all week, and even though I actually did register for free as a student there was no way I could take off...

You're on, babes. My four-cylinder oil-leaking wheel-rattling Sube with all the ten-year-old grime and the missing stolen hubcap and the cigarette ash coating the entire inside and all the bad-ass Republican bumper stickers and the angry-dem key-scratches on the doors, against anybody. (Not to mention when one of my buds scraped in "Vote Gore" in giant letters on my hood just to p!ss me off... Still shows... That b@stard...) Just give me a chance to warm the ol' gal up real good. We both wheeze like hell going up hills, haha... Where would you be starting from, eh?

The "old gal" sounds great! She'll get you there.

We're starting out from AZ! Hey, if you're within a few hundred miles "out of the way," we'll pick you up!

We can just race to the front door, then, okay?

I'm a b!tchy sonuvagun to transport unless you, too, chainsmoke on the road but hey thanks for the lift, chick... I appreciate it. I might wanna drag the ol' gal into town, though, just to make a visual statement, haha... You'd have to see her to believe her.

Also if I've been consuming milk products, any form of legume, heavy-grained wheat products, cheese, caffeine, tomato and other fruit, broccoli, spicy foods or other random assorted comestibles, well, pretty much if I have ingested anything within the past 24 hours, you do not want to ride in the same car with me for extended periods of time. For your own safety and my own, uh, personal dignity or something. ;)

Hey, how did the raffle go? Who won the Vote-a-Matic from Florida and who won the copies of the "How would he vote?" Washington Times ad signed by all thirteen (13) House Managers? Anxiously waiting to hear more details - so sad and sorry that I couldn't be there today.

Oh, RIKACHIKA - I can't tell you how thrilling it is to actually SEE pictures of my former students! You are all so cute, though I always had pictured something closer to 3rd graders in my mind! Instead I find you're all grown up!
