The conspiracy of ignorance masquerades as common sense. No friggin' kidding.............
Do they really think that those people who have CCP are going to leave their weapons at home?

How would you react if the person worshipping next to you in church was also carrying a concealed weapon? Wouldn't bother me a bit. After all, I wouldn't know for sure, now would I?
Obviously these folks never heard of St. Gabriel Possenti.

And if a person has a Concealed weapon, how are you going to know? That's why it's called concealed!! You're not supposed to know. What? are they gonna put metal detectors at the doors of churches now?
I bet a number already HAVE BEEN carrying thier weapons into church, has there been a problem? NO? Then SHUT UP you goofballs!!!

So....EMAIL THEM....I did - with the following message
I would be delighted to have someone with CCP next to me......it's better than feeling like you are a "sitting duck" where terrorists or others might KNOW everyone is unprotected, and take advantage of it (like at schools). Where are your brains? How many murders, rapes, robberies, etc. are stopped each year BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE GUNS? Do the RESEARCH.

How would you react if the person worshipping next to you in church was also carrying a concealed weapon? In the first place, if it is concealed you wouldn't react at all, because you wouldn't know about it.
In the second place, it would make me feel safer if I knew it. That is because experience shows that you are safer when citizens carry firearms.

It's the guy packing the gun without the permit that you have to worry about. You know, the criminal!

How would you react if the person worshipping next to you in church was also carrying a concealed weapon?Temple. But I would attempt to sneak it out of his holster.
I need a .45 1911 A frame. I don't have one. If I am stealthy enough.....

And, to top it off:
(resident)"You really don't know who you can trust these days to be honest. Just because you get a permit, it doesn't mean that person might not attack you or do something."
At least in Texas, if you put all of the people with CCPs in one group, and all others in another, guess which one is 8 (E-I-G-H-T) times more likely to be arrested for a serious crime?

Several years ago in Fort Worth Texas, a deranged man brought his rifle in to a church and started shooting people. Nobody was able to stop the massacre, because no one was allowed to legally carry in churches for self defense. The law has now been changed in Texas, so it is a little more risky for deranged lunatics to shoot up churches now.

How would you react if the person worshipping next to you in church was also carrying a concealed weapon?Well... If I were a myopic, sanctimonious, prig, like this sniveling little leftist, it would probably horrify me, but then again, I probably wouldn't be in church either.

How would you react if the person worshipping next to you in church was also carrying a concealed weapon?Let's ask Jesus...
Luke 22:36 - He said to them, "But now, let him who has a purse take it, and likewise a bag. And let him who has no sword sell his mantle and buy one."
Well, without a "mantle" it might be hard to conceal a weapon, but apparently He would not have been bothered by being in the presence of armed persons.
Should we hold ourselves above Him???

(Keller)"I think the practice of civilians carrying concealed weapons is dangerous, unnecessary and promotes violence which is already in epidemic proportions in our society." What the hell is this creeping usage we are seeing of referring to citizens as civilians.
We are not yet some militarized police state where the people are officially classified by their caste, with military and armed beauracrat on top, leaving the lowest rung of the caste system to mere "civilians."
Why doesn't this anti-self-defense coward cut to the chase and start referring to the sheep in his flock as comrades.

I know I'd feel much safer. Even more so if I'm the one carrying! If the criminal doesn't heed the word of God, a large 1911A1 .45 speaks loudly.

Here in Madison about 5 or 6 years ago, a local black minister known for preaching against homosexuality was targeted. The lefties/gay groups broke windows of his church during a service. Maybe they'd think twice if the congregation was armed.

The CCW folks should start including a reminder note in the offering envelope, telling the pastor that his parisioner is carrying every single time, and has for years.
