The thing is, though, the press doesn't stop to inquire about party affiliation when people call with tips. Yes, it was unconscionable for the Dem hack to drop a dime on Jenna ... but that came out afterward. I seriously doubt that person called and identified herself as a Dem hack. She called with the tip, it got checked out and it was accurate and the press went with it.

So you know what the moral of the story is? WE need to be on the lookout for stuff like this and call the press with legitimately verifiable info. And I mean police reports, etc., not just our word. I think you'll be stunned at the response, because again, there are more people in the business, liberal though they may be, whose No. 1, overriding agenda is selling papers and getting ratings than there are people whose No. 1, overriding agenda is furthering the liberal cause.

I think the problem is we hold ourselves up as above the fray, thinking that we're right on the issues and we're right morally and that we ought to just play it straight and in the end, good will win out. B.S.! That attitude, IMHO, is why Bill Clinton played a GOP Congress like a marionette on strings for six years. We took the high road when we were dealing with a gutter fighter who abided by no rules or bounds. We should've gotten down in the gutter with him and used the Jimmy Malone philosophy from "The Untouchables": "He brings a knife, you bring a gun ... he sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue."

It's sad that things have gotten like that ... but again, that's the reality of politics 2002 and we either need to get with the program or get run over.

The real story with regard to the President's daughters was this. Activist Democrat Restaurant Manager Calls Police on Bush Daughters. The article should have read something like this.

Last evening the Bush daughters went to a restaurant just off their Texas university campus. There one of them presented a false ID to obtain an alcoholic beverage. Incidents such as this happen thousands of times each year. Over the last ten years two students have been cited for trying to use the fake IDs. Those were the Bush daughters. Those who try to use fake IDs are always denied service, end of story.

This incident turned out differently. Not only did the manager of the restaurant call police on the Bush daughter, but when officers tried to end the incident with a repremand, the restaurant manager demanded they site her, thus filing charges.

This restaurant manager claims to be a strident Clinton supporter. She also states that she feels Bush stole the election. Over the last ten years during which time thousands of fake IDs had been presented at this restaurant, no phone calls were made to turn in those who presented them.

Yep, reporters will print just about anything, except dirt on Chelsea. And they will slant these stories to fit their agenda.
