I don't disagree with you. I don't think paparrazzi, reporters, etc., should follow the any president or any governor's kids around 365/24/7 waiting for them to screw up. But the thing is, when they do things that invite attention ... my analogy of sticking out your jaw and saying "hit me" ... they and we should not be surprised at the reaction.

And again, you are wrong if you think that if the press had police reports naming Chelsea Clinton in hand, or photos in hand of Chelsea Clinton falling down drunk, that they would not have run them. Trust me, I've been in the business for more than a quarter-century. It would have happened, regardless of any protestation from the White House. All the columnists, pundits, etc., would've fussed about it ... that's where Billy and Hilly would've called in their chips ... but as far as an everyday news decision by the working stiffs in the newsroom, that stuff would've been in the paper.

Which as I said in another response here, begs the question as to whether Chelsea had the good sense, either from her own intuition or because of drilling by her parents and their handlers, to know her stopping point and to never let herself completely go to the point of not realizing that photographers could lurk behind every pillar.

The tabloids had good pics on Chelsea, but chose not to use them.

When the Bush kid's names come up, people go out of their way to harass them. That restarant manager in Texas did something she'd never have done with any other kid. The ID would have been taken and destroyed, if that. The Bush girl would have been denied service, end of story. There are stories out there about Chelsea. The reason you don't know about them is they were never covered in the press.

Chelsea comed her hair different last week. It was top story for three days. Talk about a mega-barf alert. It's unconcionable what the press does in this nation.

As for the current mess, pharmacists will not give anyone a pass who's presenting a fraudulent script. That is as it should be. But who calls the press in on these? Some vengeful democrat, that's who. Otherwise the press wouldn't have even known about it.

Well here it is, State of the Union day and the Bush's are being taken down a notch. That's all this is about in my opinion. This is a non-event. It has nothing to do with Uncle accept to detract from his talking points.
