I was wondering how long it would take the media to drag the Bush twins into the story. Not long, I see. I feel sorry for the Bush family. It must be awful to be a main target of Satans minions. Deamons are hovering around, seeking to destroy them at evey turn.

Just trying to refill a prescription that doesn't have refill on it is not illegal, even if it is a narcotic. We'd just call the doctor to get another refill, if the medication in question wasn't a schedule 2 drug, such as Percodan. The only time we'd call the police was with a written forged prescription. The most common fraud we would see was that people would add refills on the script itself before presenting it to be filled for the first time.

We shouldn't give it any more mileage than it warrants. As long as these hypocrites are persuing the unconstitutional drug war it warrants a lot of milage. Time and again when the family and friends of the rich and powerfull are busted with drugs they get little to no punishment while the commoners get their lives destroyed.

This whole story reeks so far, Noelle Bush gets busted for sleeping pills while the Kennedy clan drives people off bridges and sexually assaults women in the compound.(with no penalties)
Never doubt there is a double standard in this country regarding Democrats, this could be Bernie Goldberg's next book!

God Bless those people, Howlin.!!
I use it as a "sleepy pill"....and NO, I ain't checkin myself into a drug rehab. Being addicted to FR, though, that's another story :~)

Perhaps because she never got arrested? Let's be consistent folks - no one has seen a headline (except in a tabloid - which also nailed Chelsea) that says "Jenna Bush Seen Drinking!" The only headlines in non-tabloid press deal with arrests. When idiot Roger "Flippin'" Clinton got arrested for DUI, it made headlines. His cocaine bust made headlines. And, who, after all, is more irrelevant than this guy? Hell, despite what some of you say, I knew that Algore3 got a speeding ticket without having to come to FR to learn the news. It is about arrests, folks, not just conduct.

Former President Bush said it as an endearment, not an insult.

Don't senior citizens realize that drugs will destroy their future?I'll just use your remark as a springboard to elaborate. : )
The mother of a close friend of mine became addicted to Valium back in the days when they used to prescribe it like candy. This poor woman cannot live without anti-anxiety meds now. Her family considered trying to help her get off of them, but it seemed ridiculous to put her through the withdrawal; I've seen her take one and an hour later beg her nurse for another.
I wonder if they would arrest her if she tried to get some illegally. She's something like 85 years-old.

"I guess JimRob's statement about stopping the disrespect against all conservatives went over some peoples heads." My guess is that these people don't bother reading what JimRob has to say.

Regarding post 262: What is the significance of the picture. I've seen this more and more often but am at a loss as to what it means. Care to explain?

Its her mugshot when she was arrested.

I think you're smelling your own hypocrisy.

Bushes aren't responsible for Bushes on drugs. No, I mean the liberal press. They don't hover around dumocraps and their corruption. It's kept hidden, behind the viel.
They hover around Republicans, smelling and feeling around for the first sign of sin to exploit.

My guess is Xanax Congratulations, you win the prize, later stories say it was Xanax, what is called a 'minor' tranquilizer, but addictive.

"The Shrub turned out to be a little too prickly for her own good. "LOL...ok...if you are honestly saying that a good answer to the shrub thing is that every yellow rose BUSH of Texas has it's thorns, then you have a good point.
Or, as Hubby just put it:
"The yellow rose of Texas: it can be soft and pretty, but it can also have a BIG prick."
Texas FReepers, give me some help with other very thorny shrubs in Texas. It's been a little too long since Hubby lived there. ( The Yellow Rose of Texas was all he could think of off the top of his head )
