Thanks for the laugh. (Psalm 2:4).
I was responding to someone else and copied you. Sorry, I thought you could figure that out.
I have seen those and I have heard all the KJV-only arguments before. They are mostly baseless and, in many cases, laughable. If you really wanted to study the issue, you could use the concordance link that I provided you.
Not yet, anyway! There is still time for the PC Nazis to work their language into the next "translation" of the Bible.
One was about why women were not allowed inside the mosque during the time of the month they were considered unclean. Her male faculty boss told her that Allah didn't want to hear her prayers during that time? Why she asked? Because he doesn't.
Eventually she was "laid off". We were convinced that it was because she asked too many questions for which there were no logical answers.
So are you saying you're not arguing in support of the KJV against other translations.
Don't get me wrong -- I like the King James Bible. It's a great translation. But the notion that it is somehow the only uncorrupted translation and the others are just tools of the devil is simply unsupportable. In fact, it's downright weird. The fact is that no translation is 100% perfect and we will never catch all of the subtle nuances unless we are completely fluent in ancient Hebrew, first-century Aramaic, and first-century Greek.
I honestly didn't catch the sarcasm.

"The grass withers, the flower fades, But the word of our God stands forever."
Isaiah 40:8
Really? Better tell that to the folks at Dictionary.com -- they say that it's in both the American Heritage Dictionary and Webster's Unabridged Dictionary. I've known the meaning of the word since I was a small child, having learned it in the conservative Southern Baptist Church that I grew up in.
Does your Bible teach 'Recompence in the Same'?
Jean
1. Most of the Changes will be in changing the gender netural "he" to "They or "Them". Even it the change alters the meaning of the text.
2. This is what happens when Christians built a religious based business, then SELL OUT to non-Christians. I am so sick and tired of short-sighted Christians selling out for a quick profit. Someday we are going to have the "non-judgemental Bible" or the"Gay-Friendly Bible". And Non-Christians will be selling it under a label that Christians labored to build. I don't blame the non-Christians. I don't expect them to understand or care. But Christians should care about what is done in Christ's name. This happens when bureaucrats run the Church instead of disciples.
