Bush is a master of the use of images. Remember him and Laura by the Christmas tree in the White House, showing off the new rug? A devastating commentary on Clinton and on the democrats' stewardship of the White House, without ever an unkind word being spoken. The late night shows picked up on it (and they are where most young people get their news), so it the message was heard by millions.
Now the photo of "Bias" under his arm puts out the message that here is a man who has had a great deal of media bias directed at himself. Had he ever said a word, they would accuse him of whining.
Bush is one smart politician.

Proof once again that a picture is worth a thousand words!

LOL He doesn't have to say a word to get his message across. I love the way he does things.

Another book for Bush and one all of you might want to read (I ordered it from Amazon)is Jeffrey Hart's
Smiling Through the Cultural Catastrophe.
Hart,a former speech writer for President Reagan, is a professor of English emeritus at Dartmouth College and the senior editor for the National Review.
His melding of philosophy, history, literature, Christianity, the Bible, and politics is an intellectual feast of original thought and very readable.

I love this! "Know thy enemy."
He's brushing up on the press and how they twist the word "is" in an attempt to nail him.
Man, this guy IS GOOD!

Remember him and Laura by the Christmas tree in the White House, showing off the new rug?I missed that, but I do remember him on either Leno or Letterman during the campaign. He was asked, "If you're elected, what will be the first thing you will do as President," and he replied, "Have the carpets cleaned." My quotes are from memory, but that was the gist of it.
