By their definition of explosive, wouldn't gasoline count?

As I have said, the anti-gunners know this has no chance of succeeding. I'll bet the legislators who introduced this bill are either not up for re-election or in a district full of DemoNAZIS who would vote for Satan himself if he ran.
The other anti-gunners will all come out and proclaim their opposition to this bill in an effort to make gun owners think that they are really not anti-gunners.
They will then water down the bill by banning only certain weapons such as .50 cal "sniper rifles". After all, who NEEDS a gun that can take out a tank (or a dirty politician) at more than a mile away?
The gun owners will lose a bit more and the NRA will proclaim that this was a victory and they actually support the new law.

It seems to to this layman. "Detonator" seems to me to include the airbag triggers in new cars also just like Clintons anti-terrorism bill did. That would mean that anyone with airbags in their car and a bottle of vinegar in their cupboard would be terrorists (well, I guess we already are under federal law).
To: gnarledmaw
Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the airbag triggers. And of course anyone possessing or distributing said materials is guilty. Such as manufacturers of airbags/cars and owners of gasoline stations? Or any form of fuel which is nothing more than an oxidizing substance to cause consussion or percussion. How about my propane tank on my grill, now that cause definitely cause "bodily harm"...

"Doyle and Baumgart have cells waiting for you..."Those guys are dense. It eludes me why they would waste other people's money on cells to house my skinny butt.
What part of, "Live free or die", is so hard for them to grasp?

With over 1,500 bills introduced each session... Uhhhh, anybody think this is part of the problem?

Damned straight! I think we stopped needing new laws 'round about 1795 or so. Of course, if the politicos stopped making laws it'd be obvious to the sheeple how utterly useless they are. Feh, they disgust me.

I loved Jesse Ventura's proposal about sunsetting an existing law in order to impliment a new piece of legislation.
At 50 states, times 1,500 avg. state bills, that comes to 75,000 bills at only the state level each year. Add our friends in Washington, and god help us all. Scrap the whole mess, and start anew. Of course only after sending each politician to somalia with $2.00, a one way ticket, and a few thousand condoms with gaping holes in them.

...Jesse Ventura's proposal about sunsetting an existing law in order to impliment a new piece of legislation I hadn't heard of that. I like it!

Well, stock up on ammo. It may become more valuable than the guns themselves.

WRONG!!! NOT all the co-sponsors are from DemoNazi districts!!! My very own moron Rep. Frank Urban (R., 99th) who is an MD, co-sponsored from the Assembly.
Goes to show that you don't need intelligence to become a doctor.
He is married to the Mayorette of Brookfield, not a bad Nazi in her own right. She announced her retirement, thank God. Perhaps Franky--poo will announce, also, relieving ElmBrook of TWO elected bozos.
