"I have as much sympathy for her as i have for him.....no more....no less....See post 112"

While post #112 is a credible co-dependence scenario, it totally leaves out the possibility that the husband was just another out of millions who successfully lead double lives - until caught.

The idea that the two of them could have been living for years in an empty marriage and she simply wasn't paying enough attention to catch behaviors which could have warned her of her husband's...err...sick hobby...is equally plausible.

I know knothing about the political affiliation, past rulings or whather the judge herself has been caught up in any scandals of her own. Therefore, undil I have information which indicates my sympathy is misplaced, I have room for sympathy in my heart for this woman, who's marriage, and possibly career aspirations, has just been destroyed.

Makes no difference.....she is still at the same level of emotional funtionality or in this case dysfuntion. Think of peoples emotional level as gears......all diferent sizes....different numbers of teeth on the gears.....different size, shape teeth on those gears.....all these gears are floating around spinning....you, as one of those gears are attracted to another gear.....you either mesh or the sparks fly and you bounce off in search of one that fits....we only develop lasting relationships with those gears that we mesh with....plain and simple.....whether one party is hiding stuff or not...people will try and make it work, gears grinding and sparking but the longer the relationship lasts the smoother the gears must have meshed.
