I totally agree. There has been a near-blackout here in NY of news regarding this crash. I've been thinking, big brother decided NY couldn't handle anymore, the exchange would crash, so they decided it was an acciden.

I think it sounds like a feasible idea, but I don't believe in a deliberate cover-up. I also believe that in cases like this where an accident is possible that the terrorists responsible would make it known it was an act of terrorism.

If 587 was "shoe job" #1 it appears to have fallen flat (pardon the pun). Hardly anyone seemed concerned about the possibility of an onboard explosion once attention focused upon the plane's tail, which appeared to have broken off clean. Could it have been two synchronized shoe jobs, one at the wings and one in the lavatory in the rear?
