Excellent try! I'm about as southern as they come, and I couldn't answer all of 'em. You missed a few - the one about the steer - think mountain oysters. Three legs and a rope - here's a hint - contestant throws hands up when he's through.

#15...a steer, like a mule, cannot reproduce. A steer is a castrated bull.
To: Loopy
Help you a little here,... mules are sterile and steers are castrated = no offspring :0)

Who are Lester and Earl? (Now only one possible answer.)

I always thought of Panama City Beach as the Redneck Riviera. Destin is too upscale for Jethro and Ellie Mae.

28. fat, juicy, green grape...that other honking big grape is purple, a muskeedine (sp), and you can't eat the skins on either. I wonder if that's the grape Gran'ma used to call Bull-lips, down in Greene Co., MS?

I feel I should get extra credit for knowing that 'vienna' is correctly pronounced as 'vy-eena'.
