Freepers, I want to talk to you all about the staute. I agree with you all that to depict the staute with mullti-racial characters is wrong and politically correct. I, however, have something to tell you all that you will not like.

Forget Federal. The LAWYER who just finished talking to O'Reilly, representing the men in the photograph, said that ANY representation of his clients, not "substantially" different from the original, is Copyrighted and NOT public domain.

They can call whatever names they want. To back down out of FEAR of being called names is unprincipled to the max. I would feel more shame at taking your advice of "doing nothing" in the face of this. Evil must be confronted. If evil isn't confronted, then that is when it prospers.

I'm not for censorship. I'm for free speech. Some of you act as if you can't read! That's why I want it removed. Not even Black Voices engage in a mass campaign effort to attack the poster. Black Voices is way more libertarian on free speech than you all. The only time the posters do attack is on race issue. That's when they call you all the lovely terms conservative blacks can't stand.

I ain't gonna touch it. But let me say this about the "Black Voices" site. There are some wonderful, wonderful conservative black voices (no pun intended) over there, but only a handful (surprise!). Other than that, it is one of the most worthless websites out there.

So don't get in a twist about what they may or may not say. We here at FR can cross the street and be labeled racist and/or "sell-out" for doing it.
