In my house, little Dumbya's approval rating has never risen from single digits

Neither has your IQ...

Uncle Ted? I thought he swore off the sauce ages ago.

You must be kidding, if Teddy stopped drinking, he wouldn't be able to live with what he and his family members have come to-- better to stay inebriated.

I won't argue your point but Bush is not Clinton. If heads need to roll, they will. Of this I have no doubt. Your skepticism, I can understand. I don't believe the Admin. is at all involved in this as far as prior knowledge.

As far as the investors are concerned, they did the same thing I did. I put all my eggs in one basket and lost it all on a IT company last year. I am now broke but wiser. Tough lesson to learn and very expensive.

You ment the "IQ levels". Just wanted to make a correction.

By the way, little Joey Leberman reminded us, two days ago, how much the Democrats have received from Enron. Joey Leberman, mind you.

In my house, little Dumbya's approval rating has never risen from single digits, ever since the Supremes appointed the puny presidential pretender.

You can keep whining over that, but where were you when the Florida Supremes injected themselves into to the fight in Florida while their constitutution says is\t was a matter of the state legislature.

I asked that same question of two Gorons at work and they refused to answer me.

The US supremes were acted responsibly in making sure that the state of Florida' supreme court abided by iots own laws.

The Florida Supremes acted irresponsibly by involving themselves in a matter that was not their's to decide.

You can hope against hope, but if you feel okay with purposely believing and manipulating a lie, I feel very sorry for you.

someone should be going to jail for this.

Why? Half the freepers don't seem to want the Clintons in jail for worse stuff.

It is just politics. "WE don't want the country torn apart".

If the truth will tear our country apart, I think we should get out the sissors.

I am tired of the coverups being covered up.

Arthur Anderson is going to take a HUGE hit here, legally and in maintaining their client base. They may become accounting pariahs.

Unless anyone can prove that any elected official used their influence to aid in hiding the problems at Enron, only Arthur Anderson is going to have problems. It's a stretch to say that just because a politician got cash and the company went bankrupt, then the politician must be liable for something.

The 401k stuff is really ugly.

There was one dead guy in the race and Ashcroft and the Law says the candidates must both live in the state being contested

The exact description is that the candidates must RESIDE in the state being contested.

And Governor Carnahan did indeed reside in Missouri...he just did so about six feet lower than most other Missourians...you could say that he was very much ONE with the soil of Missouri :o)

flat out stone-wall.

But that is what Ashcroft and Bush are doing to Burton's Committee.

What are they afraid of? Everyone knows about the Clintons but why won't Ashcroft and Bush hand over the stuff about the FBI that is 30 years old?

Unless there is somthing else they are hiding it doesn't make any sense to me.

You asked a question from a Democrat? Thats funny. You must realize that you will never get an answer. You will hear a bunch of illogical crap that never answers the question and usually revolves around some "I think that" conspiracy. Have you ever been asked a question by a Democrat? Notice they never, never let you answer. It's funny as s#!t.

True, but Enron gave far more to the Republicans. When the dust settles, I do believe this will put a large chink in Bush's armor. He should've known better.

hat's very true. As you begin to answer, they start with the "No, no, no..." routine until they've either walked away, or you've had enough.

They don't want to deal with facts. They are in safe-mode as long as they can use their fellings as the mode of debate.

I know that they don't answer, but I likle to put it on record, especially here on FR where it is etched for everyone to witness.

Interesting link you might want to read -- it tells all about the connections of Enron to the Presidency:

http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/opinion/datelinedc/s_7142.html

Am sure after reading this connection to the Presidency, you will be glad to come back and tell all of us how much of this will affect the President! Thanks!

His contacts with Enron should be looked at closly to, I'm not playing favorites here.

I’m sure you’ll be calling for investigations into the following people:

Very incomplete list of Enron contributions to Democratic politicians:
