I will not be a party to cheerleading the bastardization of Constitutional principle - especially under the nebulous catch-phrase of 'security'.

I think a person requesting it on the thread is sufficent enough. Your attitude toward those who do not share your view on this matter is being rather small considering the fact you flaged us here to begin with. If you can take the critism of the thread then don't flag people especially me to it. It makes it even worse when if they disagree with you to resort to calling their opinion rhetoric and belittle their response even to the point of accusing the person of helping Communist, Liberals, and Dems. I know of no true conservatives who would do this.
But then again your understanding of what constitutes conservatism is questionable at best.
For your future flags to threads concerning anything I hereby ask you to UNSUBSCRIBE my Name, Remove ME! Delete MY NAME from your list! Second request!
His repeated bashing of calling those who do not share his views is childish. He as well ignores remove from list request. In short Dave you are making people mad by pinging them to the same thread three and four times. KNOCK IT OFF!
Durn it, David. We thought we were on the inside when GW was elected.
It seems to me if we change Ashcroft to Reno and Bush to Clinton, we would seem to be on a Democrat forum.
Don't say anything against Bush/Clinton. Don't say anything against Ashcroft/Reno. Don't say anything against Republicans/Democrats.
I had great hopes for "The Contract With America". That is what gave Republicans the House and Senate in 1994.
The Republicans did not keep their contract. That is why a lot of us stayed home in 1996.
If I vote for someone that says they will do somthing and they don't, why should I go to the bother of voting for them again? Why should I vote at all?
Maybe that is why half of the REGISTERED voters didn't vote.
I will make a point to vote every election. Until they have "none of the above", I will vote for anyone that is not a Republican or Democrat.
Except for Ron Paul.
Well, RBA. I might be a druggie, if I knew what street corner to hang out to buy it.
I never tried it. I don't care to try it.
It does irk me that if a neighbor or anyone gets mad at me they can call in a "tip" and get me or any of my grandkids that happen to be spending the night killed, it's OK.
Care to cite an example, or use a wild imagination to justify an argument?
