I predict he'll be a few votes short I predict he'll win in a landslide because his opponent is a RINO joke and the state GOP is non-existant.

I predict he'll win in a landslide because his opponent is a RINO joke and the state GOP is non-existant. He will win by a landslide. Liberals will vote for him because he is a Democrat who worked with Clinton. Conservatives either will vote for hime or abstain because Weld/Cellucci/Swift line is simply unbearable. Trade Union and ethnic vote will go to him, because he seems to care about working class and families. College related people (there are many of them in Massachusetts) will vote for him because he is a professor. Reagan Democrats will vote for him because they will not be able to stomach Swift's running "mate".
In Massachusetts if you want a sensible person in the office you MUST look for a conservative or moderate Democrat like Silber. Do not look among the Tory Row Republicans.

Does this weenie have a chance? If so, why, is Massachusettes that hard up?Our current RINO governor, who took over when Celucci was made ambassador to Canada, is dead meat on a stick politically.
Reich may have a challenge winning the Dem nomination. But if he does, he will be a shoe-in. I would say that the odds of our current governer losing to ANY Dem is virtually 100%.
Remember, this state loved Clinton and loved Gore.

To tell you the truth, I hope he wins. He is much more conservative (I know he is EXTREMELY LIBERAL) than that dolt of a RINO they have now.He is a liberal, that's true. At least on economic issues anyway. But he was the most honest member of the Clinton administration, by far. He looked absolutely out of place, and uncomfortable, the couple of times he guest hosted on Crossfire. On one occasion, when he wasn't being partisan, I did hear him admit that the economic boom of the 90's originated in the 80's. I hope he wins too!

If he really gets in, I'm looking to N.H. for a home.

Rush Limbaugh on his tv program portrayed former Clinton officeholders resembling certain breeds of dogs. Wasn't Reich the one that looked yapping terrier?

How man ex Clinton kneepadders are running for some form of public office now? Many.
Cuomo in NY (Governor)
Reno in FL (Governor)
Bowles in NC (Senator)
Richardson in NM (Governor)
just to name a few, and there are still more.
Kind of reminds me of the "Omen" movies side-plot. Where The Evil One had his minions in various Government positions to protect Dameon. Only this time the evil one has taken human form (Hillary!), and her most trusted aide, at the head of the DNC, is stiving to do the same with her lackeys and toadies.

If he really gets in, I'm looking to N.H. for a home. Do you prefer present Republican governor and her running mate?

I live in Rhode Island and we don't have a viable Republican gubernatorial candidate at this time. Our present Republican governor loves taxes-the more the better.he exhibits zero leadership. The dems who will be running are a typical tax and spend,anti-gun crew of idiots. But all that said, you folks in the People's Republic of Massachusetts have a real reason to not vote-the midget socialist vs.the incompetent blimp.

The terrier was David Bonier, the member of Congress who avowed to go after Gingrich. Since Newt got out of the picture, the terrier has been fairly quiet, though he shows up yapping from time to time.

I thought governships had a height requirement. If not, there should be a sign at every governor's mansion stating, "You must be this tall to ride this ride."

"Do you prefer present Republican governor and her running mate?" To Herr Reichhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh? Yes.
But that's the lesser of the two great evils.
