Computer simulation aims to raise questions about huge stockpiles of nuclear warheads.
A new computer program developed for nuclear weapons researchers in the U.S. probably won't give Canadians much of a sense of security in these days of global tension and uncertainty. The software simulated the destruction of Canada with as few as 11 nuclear warheads.

The real question is, if Canada were eliminated, would anyone notice?
It would probably mean one less one-party dictatorship.

Let me guess, the Liberals will 'win' elections from now on, eh? :)
There is a book called "Friendly Dictatorship" about Canada's dilema that I would like to get and read.

Yes! Canada's secret weapon - the Poutine Bomb!
Once this disgusting melange congeals into a solid mass, nothing can escape it's steel-like grip!
I order this stuff by the 45 gallon drum. Good for tarring roofs, paving a road (great on drive-ways!), or for pouring a foundation. Also available in Italian flavour - Italian meat sauce, curd cheese and fries. Mmmm-mmm!
And remember, if it doesn't congeal in your gut, it will at least congeal in your arteries.
A pack of Gitanes, a quart of Labatt 50, and a plate of Poutine! The Quebecois' recipe to the good (but very short) life. A votre sante!

I second Don Cherry. Besides, he likes Michigan, and that's saying something for someone who hates most foreigners.

11 nukes in Australia would kill between 75-85% of the total population in the country and leave the entire continent up for grabs. Including 30% of the world's Uranium. Right next door to the world's largest Muslim country. Now THAT's scary.

Carnival in Quebec City maybe?
Bar keep! Caribou for everyone!

lotsa polar bears I don't wanna tangle with them. I'll stick to black bears like we have in our state.

I guess you won't be in the Saint Johnny B parade this year? Why not? I can paint a nice blue fleur-de-lys on my cheek, and wave the flag, tabarnac! Mais oui, hostie!

Basically, China isn't a single monolithic country.... Good point. China seems destined to collapse into civil war from time to time.

Montreal is the economic heart of Quebec, and biggest port on the St. Lawrence Seaway. Ottawa--the capital and high-tech. Toronto--the HQ of almost everything in Canada. A two week bombing campaign with just conventional weapons by the USAF would turn Canada into "Canadistan". The four largest cities contain one-third of the population. A few would be killed and the rest would be displaced. Toronto 4 million Montreal 3 million Vancouver 2 million Ottawa 1 million

Eliminate Canada? Hmmmmmmmmm.... No way! It was a U.S. simulation, to be sure, bu the missiles would probably come from N. Korea, China, etc... this is our way of trying to get Canadian cooperation for the missile shield program.

Good ole watcher 1, never too late to get in one last poke in the eye. I just hope those socialist hordes ruling from Ottawa get the message and call an election soon so we can boot them out and get you off our backs.

Oh, and one more thing, the socialist louts living north of the border did kick the snot out of the Yankee invaders in 1812, acccept it and move on.
