Bumper sticker seen on liberal gal's car in Albuquerque last week:
RE-ELECT GORE IN 04!

The magazine says the ascendancy of Gore and Daschle relegates Sens. John Kerry of Massachusetts and John Edwards of N.C. "to the second tier of Democratic hopefuls." Stay tuned.
The ascendancy of Al Gore? Right, he has ascended so high he is still below the radar screen. Stay tuned? Right, for the Wicked Witch of the East to enter the fray.

What with Daschle, Liebermann, and Hillary!, that would make the Democratic field "Gore, the Bore, the Snore, and the Whore".

Don't let them fool you. It's all a ploy to get Hillary on the ticket. There'll be plenty of trial balloons for pseudo-candidates, but in the end she'll come in "save" the party. Who else can energize the liberal left? She's laying low for now, but I wouldn't be surprised if she and her team are cooking something up behind the scenes. We must be ever vigilant.
Do you suppose that Rolling Stone will put Hillary on the cover with an airbrushed "package"? I know, I know... Spy magazine has already done it. ;-)

Mullah Ali'Gore-ah with his regulation UBL beard -- won't these guys ever just GO AWAY ???? Must be really frustrating to HELL-ary -- she must hate that the Rats don't just concede the nomination to her. GO, MULLAH ALI'GORE-AH, GO (and don't stop until you get to Kabul)!!!

I worry that Hillary may be one of them. No need to worry, I think the American people are fed up with the Clinton crime and corruption.

Didn't the American people elect her to the US senate a while ago? I don't follow American news very well from here. I thought she got elected to some such position by New Yorkers. I don't normally associate NY with particularly flaky politicians (Massachusetts and even California, yes) but I suppose anyone can have an off day. Maybe New York is not so sane after all. At any rate, it would seem that not quite ALL Americans have had enough of the Clintons.
All the same, you are likely right in saying that if you mean that she could not really win a national election. I doubt she could even win the Dem. primary (if she were to run). I doubt Gore will either.
