Here's one from Karen who's from upstate, New York. Big territory. "Bill, I almost always agree with you, but you are really wrong on this one. The pilot did exactly the right thing. And anyone who believes a government ID cannot be forged is living in a fantasy."

I get the feeling he cares more about money than anything else. I smell something fishy here.
This is my understanding also................three times?........it's as if he was determined to get tossed, putting himself in a position to file a big bucks lawsuit.
You responses are political correctness run amock.
The pilots main consideration is the safety of his passengers, not to some stupid liberal agenda that dictates that it is acceptable to get a planeload of people killed so as not to hurt somebody's feelings.
Yes, this gets to the crux of the matter. Did the pilot say something specific to implicate "racial profiling"? If not, how would these passengers be able to know what he was thinking? Sorry, it just doesn't make sense.
The difference is that we would never hear about it. We would have just another plane crashing into some building or blowing up somewhere.
You have no idea what you are talking about. Read the reports submitted by the pilot and the Control Manager. Think closely about what has taken place and try to make some sense.
Kind of ironic. This so called SS agent seemed to lack common sense in just about everything he did on the flight and subsequently. Now that he has made such a public spectacle of himself he has compromised his security status. The pilot was just doing his job, while this "agent" has basically spit in the face of the POTUS.
This is wrong. Read the report of the control manager.
I guess in your mind we should send them all back to the Mid East.
The Pilot has a job to do but so did this Agent. In my opinion the security of the Nation is more important than the security of one plane. And this pilot would not even call a local number to verify him. Not even call it to see if it would be answered. Not check with Directory Assistance just in case the White House had a listed number.
Based on the content of your previous posts this makes about as much sense.
Press is a heartless Democrat who has argued vehimately against vouchers (= better schools and educations) for poor, inner city minority children. He has an agenda and a smile but no heart.
Maybe so he could protect the President better against these people. DUH -- By the way it was Mid Eastern History not Islam although Islam would be part of that.
Actually this tends to highlight your irrational thinking. Although I believe the pilot was justified in booting this so called SS agent off his flight, no one can possibly read his mind in determining how important profiling was a part of his decision making.
"They" suspected him as in the pilot? So you mean the pilot? The person that "didn't know he was Arab" was the control manager 1000 miles away. This was previously addressed by someone else. You're totally clueless.
"One other thing that bothered me: in this day and time, this "atmosphere," if you will, why on EARTH would this guy be carrying a textbook about the history of Islam? I mean, if I know not to carry that onboard, why wouldn't a Secret Service agent have the sense not to????"
The comments you're quoting above aren't mine -- DUH.
I agree, however, Thruseday he was all for the Pilot and against this SS Agent. Gleeful that Bush could be shown standing up for the wrong guy. Friday he says it is Unfornate but it looks like the Pilot was at fault. No one here has found anything different than this except for AA propeganda which is very poorly written and very conflictatory and never answers the most basic question. Why was the White House not called and notified that an Agent was supposedly posing as SS Agent. Do they have no responsibility to the flying public at all to keep armed terroist away from planes. Which is what must have been assuming. If they really thought he was a terroist Why didn't they call in the FBI. Or the Secret Service. Or Customs or someone. Surely people are at BWI for these kind of problems. They shut other airports down when a man got a fake gun on a plane why not when a man gets a real gun on a plane???
Stop projecting and kindly take your bigotry elsewhere.
ROFLMAO. Surely you don't believe that.
The first thing the agent did was call an Islamic group.
Yes, and I suppose in addition to the mysterious "leaker" from the flight incident there was another one from CAIR going to the media. Uh, right.
First of All Press and Carlton agreed that this pilot was in the wrong. Secondly I watch to see Carlton kick Press's butt. Thirdly I believe most of us here fight for the truth not for some Right Wing Agenda. I do not understand why you are against the President on this he is supporting his agent. Are you a Pilot?
