I believe they did their shake down cruise right here on FR
But..........
When those planes came crashing into our collective, seemingly invulnerable, protected Country, we Citizens pulled together into one Body that the clanging of our Door resounded around the World.
I'm going to speak only for myself, but I suspect many of the others here at FR that you accuse of targeting Christians in general would agree with me.
What I have tried to convey to you is that *you* are intolerant and that *you* use your Christianity to sit in judgment of others' Christianity.
I am a Christian, and most of the people who have reacted to your self righteous remarks have identified themselves as Christians also.
It is *not* your Christianity that I have reacted to, but your sanctimonious attitude. The very fact that you accuse me of targeting Christianity is an example of the problem that I have had with you.
I've noticed a pattern with you and most of us that you have directed your accusation to, and that is that you have implied and outright said over and over again that we are not Christians, but we have given you the benefit of the doubt about your Christianity.
You don't seem to accept that there are many differences among Christians, but that there is one thing that we all have in common and that is our love for Jesus Christ. I hope that you will consider examining your motives and changing your attitude toward other Christians who happen to practice different religions than you do.
I don't agree with all of your views, but as a Christian, I will try to focus on what we have in common rather than our differences if you will do the same, because what we have in common is the best thing that has happened to all of us.
I've been hard on you, I admit, but you really pushed my buttons because I cannot stand to see people twist the truth in order to condemn other people. You probably aren't aware that you've done that, but you have, not only to me and others at FR, but to the president as well.
So if we all keep in mind that we will have differences in doctrine, some major, with other Christians, but that none of that can overshadow the one thing that we do have in common, maybe some of these bad feelings will abate.

Your right. But we are told to expect that.
The most "religous" people in the world at the time of Jesus Christ, who had the Sciptures, but couldn't recognize the true Messiah, Killed Jesus Christ.
If you hold to the Scriptures and follow Jesus Christ, they will eventually kill you.
And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
The time will come that true bible believing christians will suffer for the gospels sake. Many times the people who did not like Christs Words tried to stone Him. Gods Words are powerful, thats why many "religions" do not use the bible for their finally authoriy. It exposes who they really are.
The bible is Jesus Christs final authority. If Gods enemies could only get rid of that book!!!...
Boy, did you ever get a strong reaction for so few words! It must have sting the hypocrites to the core.
The death of Judeo-Christian morality will mean the death of this country. All one has to do is to proclaim that truth and the godless as well as the false and Laodicean Christians begin to howl. They don't know how blind they are.
Please note that I said all one has to do is to proclaim that truth--take a vocal stand on it--and one becomes the target of vile invective. Merely proclaiming the truth brings on the accusations that the speaker is "trying to impose his morality on the rest of us", is a "Pharisee", or is "unchristian."
They are at war with the Word and don't even realize it. They will ultimately win too, in the short term. When they find themselves contending with an even more powerful nanny state they will flail and cast about looking for someone to blame. They will be unable to justly fix blame on the those of us that they accuse of being the "American Taliban" because we will not have contributed to the creation of godless, amoral, sodomy-celebrating political regime that will govern them.
They will either unjustly fix the blame on us (as Nero did) or they will begin to fight among themselves. But they will never fix the blame where it belongs: squarely on themselves and their allies on the political left.
It will be a sorry spectacle to see them rage and self-immolate. But I will remain tranquil to the core.
"We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate for the government of any other." -John Adams
...and you've given them a lot of ammunition for them to shoot at us.
